I didn’t even know rivnuts were a thing until I wanted to add the map pockets to my 2023 RAM ProMaster Van. Trying to figure to install on the cheap since I only needed to install 8 of them I looked at YouTube on how to install without a tool. That would never work for me so I looked for an inexpensive tool. And found this one. I found this tool. Nice case, nice tool feel, instructions and an added bonus several different size rivnuts included what I needed. Easy to use and I can make easy things hard. But worked great. And the price was cheaper than 8 genuine MOPAR rivnuts. Highly recommend even if you have just 2 rivnuts to install. ... show more

The tool I opted to buy was the 16" rivet nut tool. The reason I did is because a lot of people were saying the smaller one isn't that sturdy. This one is nice and sturdy, well made. The case it comes with is nice also. Comes with an assortment of nuts rivets. It doesn't bother me that they are in individual little bags sorted by size. I'm gonna place the nut rivets in a tray I have a with individual compartments for the different sizes they sent me. Plus I'm ordering more nut rivets in a larger variety of sizes in standard and metric. Easy to use, trouble free. It's gonna come in very handy for a car project me and my son are working on. And I'm sure for many other projects as well. I do recommend buying this one as it's very well priced. ... show more

Got this for a few jobs, so far I've only got one done, but it's done it's job and I plan to follow through with the rest of my projects. Returning to add that, I've now used this in both of the rooftops of my truck cab and fiberglass camper shell to mount roof racks. The rivets hold tight to both materials (asuming you used the correct drill bit for your holes. Obviously you did 😉.) And the tool works great with ease. Both roof racks are bolted down solid, and I've not had any problems with them coming lose pr the rivets slipping. ... show more

This rivet gun is a nice package, has many useful sizes, and the molded case is nice for storage and transport. It works fine, for occasional DIY use, it's a great option. Build quality is okay, really on par given the price. In my kit, I discovered (well after the 30 day window) that the included M6 nuts were not actually M6, but rather 1/4x20. I tried reaching out to the vendor (hoping that they would send the M6 nuts). They told me I could just buy them separately. That's true, of course, but I should not have to... their kit was packaged in error. So while I offer them kudos for quickly responding to the inquiry, they didn't make it right, so I've dropped 1 star. Otherwise (if they had fixed this issue), it would be a 5 star review. ... show more

Size: 14" rivet nut tool with 7 mandrels
So my classic truck had these nuts inside the doors for west coast mirrors. I'm like, how did they do that! So I googled and found out what they were so got this tool and tried it out to install a roof mounted visor to the same classic truck. Oh man, these sure beat stripped out sheet metal screws! These suckers ain't going anywhere! This is how to install things properly in sheetmetal. The tool was super, super easy to use. Just drill out a hole a bit larger than the rivnut to fit into. Just test by drilling a hole into a piece of cardboard. Then open the handle of the tool, screw on a rivnut, tighten up the center knob, close the handles together, then open and re-tighten the center knob, close them again and do it again, but just until it gets hard to close the handles again and you're done. Unscrew using the center knob and you've got a secure nut in sheetmetal! Great quality tool, too! I highly doubt I ever need to replace it in my lifetime unless it gets stolen or lost. I don't see me wearing it out. This is a great quality tool! One of those purchases you are so happy to have made, and wish you made it many years ago, know that feeling? Can't wait to use it again! I'll be installing these in my classics trucks for sun visors and west coast mirrors. Replacing wherever I've got sheet metal screws! Who knows what other handy projects I'll find with this on hand, now. Super cool tool. If you're looking for a rivnut tool, you've found it! Just buy it!
