I was very pleased with this bread box! I put two loaves in there and the bread is moist to the last slice! I also put noodles and pre-opened munches in it and it remains fresh as well. The craftsmanship is very well done. The door slides smoothly and the box is tight leaving no air in. The price is a little high but, it is made entirely of oak wood, and it is bigger than the other boxes offered. I’ve only had this a couple of days but it is easily the most beautiful thing in my kitchen. The chestnut color matches perfectly my oak cabinets. I left the box open for 24 hours so the odor from the finish could dissipate but that seems to be gone now. I can comfortably fit a large loaf of bread and bagels which is what we usually keep on hand with some room left over. ... show more
