  • Super fun, interesting and pops well
Style: 10 Pack Assorted Kernels
This has been quite fun. Who knew there were so many types of corn to pop? I can't say we like any one more than any other so far, but the variety has been fun. The corns pop well in our air popper ... and we've recently started drizzling truffle oil over the bowl. So tasty and a fun, high-fiber treat. ... show more

  • BEST Popcorn !!
Style: 10 Pack Assorted Kernels
Well, this variety pack sure is a lot of fun. Gormet all the way! I have not tried all the varieties in this pack yet, so far each one is unique and Very Very Good. excellent "pop", just lovely. For sure you would be hard pressed to choose just one! Highly recommend!

  • They all taste great.
Style: 10 Pack Assorted Kernels
Great selection. I like sampling different flavors to see which one I want to buy a larger portion of. The only problem is it's really hard to decide which are the best because they're all so great.

  • A nice variety pack of 10 different options/flavors, a little underwhelmed though
Style: 10 Pack Assorted Kernels
We thought we would venture into the realm of fancy-schmancy popcorn since, really, what else are we going to do during this covid pandemic. After years of eating Jiffy-pop brand kernels and Orville Redebacher kernels, we figured we'd treat ourselves. However, the Amish Popcorn company sells a large variety of gourmet popcorn kernels and frankly we had no idea what we would really like, and couldn't agree on a certain type, so this variety pack was great for sampling. Contrary to what others have experienced, my package arrived intact and in one piece. So kudos to Amazon for great packaging. There are 10 different bags of popcorn in the pack, and each is individually labeled. Each pack is a 4 oz bag, which is about 1/2 cup of kernels. That's enough for a very generous helping for our family of 4 popcorn eating maniacs. So far, we're half way through the sample pack and have not experienced very many old maids. We pop over the stove in coconut oil and have been happy with the output and freshness of the kernels. It's interesting to try the different types, but I'm the tiniest bit disappointed that there really isn't all that dramatic of a difference in taste/flavor between the different strains. They all taste great, but it's not like a kaleidoscope of flavors that I was hoping for. Are they that much better than the generic stuff in your grocery store? I'm not sure. We pop our kernels in coconut oil and sprinkle Flavacol to get that movie theater popcorn flavor, so maybe that's masking some of the nuances, but it's not like it's a 100 fold difference in taste or quality or texture to justify the extra cost. The one strain with the most obvious difference is the Ladyfinger, which makes popcorn about half the size of normal. Cute, and very novel at first, but taste is nothing special since it's just like normal popcorn and due to its small size, was in the end actually kind of annoying to eat. It's like a bowl full of popcorn runt pieces. Maybe if we just did airpop and were just tasting the popcorn itself without any additional flavorings we'd stay with the Amish popcorn brand, but for us, I wasn't convinced this is where I'm spending additional money. So while we've enjoyed our short foray into the bourgeois popcorn world, we're probably going back to buying the Orville Redenbacher stuff from the grocery store. ... show more

  • Poppin' fresh, some better than others
Style: 10 Pack Assorted Kernels
This is the finest quality popcorn product I have ever tried. Not wild about all the varieties, especially the Ladyfinger: WAY too small kernels. But the Extra Large Caramel is on my next to buy list. Best popcorn EVER.

  • Not impressed
Style: 10 Pack Assorted Kernels
I usually but one of the two major brands for use in our whirly pop corn popper. Based on the reviews for this brand, I decided to give it a try by getting the sampler. Of all the varieties I guess the mushroom pop corn was the best. The others were just OK. Not sure what I was expecting. Going back to Great Northern and Snappy. But hey, that’s what a sampler is for. Try it, you may like it. ... show more
