I love this freekin bed!!!! First off, everything came in one box not two and with pre filled aligned holes with bolts in place where all you had to do was unloosen the bolts, assemble and retighten and move on which came as a pleasant surprise since most of the reviews had an issue with missed aligned holes, so it’s been fixed! Easy to assemble, except for one of the wings but that wasn’t that bad either. It can take about an hour if you don’t take any breaks. Finally, it’s soft, sturdy, and very elegant of which I highly recommend and a purchase you won’t regret!!! ... show more

All parts and extras came when putting bed together. All the parts fit perfectly where the holes were placed to put pieces together. I love the finished product and the tuffed velvet headboard is tall and very soft. The bed was lower than expected but I used 7 3/4 inch feet extendsionsI bought separately and it did the trick to rise the bed a bit higher. 12' inch mattress will probably work best but I was able to fit a 14' comfortably, but note, fitting in matresses can be a little difficult due to the wingback design. The bed weighs a lot due to the tuffed end pieces, and assembling it was quite difficult for one person, I'd suggest two, the allen wrench that came with the set is quite cumbersome to use, Id prefer/suggest a ratchet wrench to do the job quicker and easier. All in all, its a perfect size and shape with a comfortable design with no issues on build quality. ... show more

If you’re questioning whether to get this bed frame, this is your sign to buy it! Absolutely gorgeous king bed frame! The material on the footboard and headboard is soft. It doesn’t need a box spring bc if you end up putting one on, it’ll just be too high and it won’t depict how the picture looks. It took about an hour to put together and we had to use power tools bc the like everyone mentioned, the holes don’t exactly line up. I also love that the slats are velcro and don’t require you to screw each one individually. The bed is sturdy and is pretty heavy. The package came in two. The first box came and then the following day, the second one came. Definitely worth the buy! ... show more

Now that the bed has been assembled, I will say it is very sturdy, comfortable and nice looking. It does come in two boxes however the small box is inside the large box. I kept looking for the arrival of the mentioned second box as it was difficult to believe a bed that large came in that size box. Assembly was a long process and took two people about three hours which is how they managed to get that entire bed into the box.
