    • Extremely Realistic 737 MCP

I'm an airline pilot who is type rated on the 737 NG with over 1,500hrs in the actual aircraft. In preparation for upgrading to Captain, I searched for the most realistic MCP panel on the market to practice with the PDMG 737 add-on to MSFS 2020. Without a doubt this MCP panel is the most true-to form version of the Collins MCP that I have been able to find, and so I picked it up. Every detail is identical to the Collins MCP's found in the 737 NGs that I fly at my company. I was honestly slightly hesitant to pull the trigger due to the cost and that the company being based overseas (China), but when I received the MCP and got it set up in MSFS with the driver software, all doubts were put to rest. Firstly, connecting the MCP was super easy. It truly is plug and play once you download the driver software. There is no lag at all in the game when I selected a switch or twisted a knob on the MCP Panel. What this MCP has that others don't that really sets it apart is a functional magnetic A/T switch, and also the bank angle selector on the Heading switch. For someone like me who is practicing V1 cuts and engine out escape paths where I need these to be functional, these two features were very important. This company does sell a cheaper version of this MCP that does not have the magnetic A/T switch, so that might be the better option for those just wanting to have a more realistic simulator experience but not needing that feature. Overall, I can't recommend this MCP panel enough for those looking for an identical MCP experience to the real aircraft. ... show more
