This looks great while it lasts. Ours lasted about a year and then broke off in the middle of its trunk. I liked it a lot, so I purchased another one hoping it will last more than a year, but that's probably wishful thinking. We needed a new tree for our patio and ordered this one. I was and still am TOTALLY impressed with this artificial palm tree. It came well packaged; I just needed to spread the limbs and place it in a heavy planter. You will need to place rocks or some sort of heavy filler in your pot to hold it upright. ... show more

I am satisfied with this faux palm except for the fact that even in two pots (one very large) and with styrofoam to support it I’m having difficulty getting it to stand and not topple sideways. I’m a senior. I didn’t want it to be so heavy that I would have a problem moving it around, but it looks like I’ll need to fill the pot with sand instead of what I have used. ... show more
