  • LED low beam clocking position
Color: Black LED Bar
I really love the look of these headlights! I took the advice from the reviews and purchased the LED low beam bulbs as well. Once installed they seemed kinda dull and blurry. After some research I found that the correct clocking of the low beam LED bulb is crucial to the light pattern in the projector housing. I originally had mine clocked where the LED chips were facing the 6 &12 o'clock position up and down. It was blurry and not great light output. I then removed the LED bulb and clocked it to where the LED chips were facing the 3 & 9 o'clock position side to side. And what a difference! A much cleaner cutoff line and better light output. I am very pleased with these headlights now. If you have replaced the bulbs with LED's and aren't happy with the light output check the position of the LED chips. ... show more

  • Happy with this purchase
Color: Black Projector Switchback LED Bar
I love the way these headlights look. I understand what people have said about the halogen bulbs leaving much to be desired, but it’s okay with me. They work well enough for the night driving that I do. They were the same size as the factory lights, so no trouble installing them. I haven’t noticed any moisture in the lenses, so they seal correctly. They are just as heavy as the originals, if not heavier, so I hope that they last just as long. Since others have experienced trouble with installing LED bulbs, I won’t try. ... show more

  • They look great!
Color: Black Projector Switchback LED Bar
I looked around trying to find some of these headlights for my 2007 Tahoe and came upon these. Reviews seemed good so I took a chance and it paid off. The installation was super easy just remove some bolts on the fender liner and remove some holding the headlight bracket in and I believe a bolt or two for the grill. The grill doesn’t have to come off completely just pull out the headlight it’s pretty easy. All in all it took about 20 minutes to install both headlights and it was relatively easy. Both of the DRLs worked great I will update in about a year to see how they worked out. ... show more

  • Read this! It will save you a lot of time and headache if you plan on upgrading to LED lighting.
Color: Black LED Bar
Bought these for the looks, and LED switchbacks knowing after reading others' reviews that the stock halogen bulbs are awful. Seriously, they suck. You CAN'T SEE with the stock headlight bulbs! For the price of these headlights, LED should be standard equipment. Nuff said. The headlights themselves were actually pretty easy to install on a 2013 Chevy Tahoe. Good fit, and they look fantastic after install. While I was at it, I opted to buy replacement LED fog lights also. I would recommend new fog lights to anyone, they really make a big difference. Below you'll find links for all the bulbs I ordered and the fog lights. One of my concerns was the amount of adjustment possible up and down with the adjuster screw. I would recommend that you turn the adjuster all the way up (counter-clockwise) after you've put your headlight bulbs in, and before you mount the headlight assembly into the vehicle. Much easier to adjust them down if needed. Mine were perfect adjusted when turned all the way up. Before you install SEE MY NOTES at the end! Another concern I had was blinding other drivers and constantly being flashed with low beams on. So far so good. Out on the road the low beams have a nice cutoff line that's about hood/fender height when shining towards oncoming traffic. It's a fairly clean line and level side to side. High beams are absolutely fantastic. See the included pics: low beam with fog lights facing front, low beam, high beam, switchbacks and amber and one pic of old headlight. One gripe I have is these assemblies use outdated bulb types. H1 for High Beam and H7 for Low Beam. LED bulb selection is somewhat lacking and variety is scarce. After much trial and error, several Amazon returns and some browsing at local auto parts stores I found the winning combo. Fog lights (BICYACO) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081SSRT8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 LED daytime running light bulb for headlight assembly (iBrightstar 3157) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MDUEBX1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Low Beam bulb (Lsyomne H7) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HGHBLMD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 High Beam bulb (Lsyomne H1) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HGLD99D/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 LED backup bulbs for taillights (iBrightstar 7441) https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XQWPKKX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ** When installing my finished headlight assemblies into my 13 tahoe the clearance is TIGHT between the low beam bulbs and the radiator support but they DO fit, and dust covers are in place also. Take your time wiggling everything into place and especially when cinching down your mounting bolts. I found that by tightening the bottom bolt first and then the upper ones it less likely to jar the low beam bulb. If the low beam bulb is pressed too hard against the radiator support it will pop a "ball and socket" type connector inside the headlight. This ball and socket is part of the up/down adjuster screw mechanism. It is cheaply made and if it comes apart your headlight adjustment will end up pointing low. If this happens, DON"T panic. It's a pain in the ass but you'll end up pulling the headlight assembly completely out again. remove the dust cover on the low beam side and look inside from the rear and you'll see where the ball and socket came apart. Turn the adjuster screw all the way down (clockwise) then work them together again using a long screwdriver. Once the ball and socket are together again re-adjust your adjuster screw all the way up again. Install your headlight again being more careful this time :) I've been driving for a week so far and everything works great. The lights really brighten everything up so good at night and its so much safer driving. It really updated the look of my 2013 Tahoe. Happy Tinkering. ... show more

  • Looked great, but failed to shine where needed
Color: Black Projector Switchback LED Bar
Installing these on a 2011 Suburban is exactly like installing OEM headlight assemblies, so I can't complain about the issues that GM's design causes. (At least it doesn't require removing the radiator, bumper, or other components like some vehicles!) The lights look great, but the projectors cannot be aimed high enough to properly illuminate the road, so they are unsafe for nighttime driving without the high beams. If headlights cannot light the road properly, then they aren't worth buying or installing! As I'm not the only one to have complained about this issue, there is either a design defect or a QC problem with these lights. I looked at some ANZO lights on CarID's website which look exactly like these, in every respect. They had one review and it, too, mentioned the aiming problem. My guess is that ANZO and AmeriLite are brands applied to the same product from some unnamed manufacturer (or maybe AmeriLite gets theirs from ANZO). Either way, mine is not an uncommon issue. I wish these had worked correctly because they looked very nice on the truck. Maybe a replacement would have worked correctly, but I'm returning them and looking elsewhere. (When I arranged the return via Amazon, the return shipping was going to be on me, but I contacted the seller, and they provided a prepaid return label. So, if there's a defect in yours, be sure to ask the seller to cover the return shipping!) ... show more
