  • Well worth the money
Size: 6' x 6' Set Color: 10% Blue
Wasn’t sure on dropping $200 on something with no reviews so I figure I’d leave one. I got the 6x6 and couldn’t be happier. Well worth the money. Durable and heavy. I keep my squat rack and with about 400lbs of weights on it. Rack doesn’t dig into the rubber like I hoped it wouldn’t. Those worried about smell, I didn’t notice any strong odor. Didn’t care either way knowing it’s rubber and would probably have a smell. Anyway don’t hesitate to buy. Fits together tight and each square is flush with one another ... show more

  • Absolutely incredible
Size: 6 Center Tiles Expansion Pack Color: 10% Blue
This tile is fantastic! I was skeptical how the puzzle-tile would look and I am blown away. We went for the blue speckle and it looks sooo good. Local flooring place quoted almost 4k for this room and we did it for slightly over 1k by ourselves. So happy we went that route. Took about 4 hours to install 10 boxes by myself in a room thats kind of L-shaped and has a sliding-glass door. When you are in the room you basically cannot see the seams. As you can see from the pictures, the animals are pleased too. I put it right over concrete floor and it is definitely not moving anywhere. I found that cutting it with a carpenter's knife and changing out the blade often makes cutting very easy. Get yourself a T-Square too. If your walls arent square then just angle the cut. The blade travels nicely if you just make multiple passes without brute-forcing it on the first go. I also found that if you get the corner started for fitting together and the rest partially lined up, you can just walk on it to get the rest of the nubs to pop in place. Just stomp around on the seam. Some pieces might be stubborn and you'll have to push with fingers but it's not bad. Smell is a bit strong at first but just leave windows open and blow a fan on it. 100% recommend at this point. Looks very professional. ... show more

  • Noxious fumes that smell like they could take the paint off your walls
Size: 12' x 12' Set Color: 10% Red
I've pulled up the flooring and boxed it backup. I had installed this as gym flooring in a 12 x 12 room but the unreal , eye watering , headache inducing, fumes coming off these weren't fading even after weeks and opening windows with fans blowing to the outside. The shipping costs I have to pay to try and return the $680 worth of flooring that I can not use indoors, is $314 via UPS ground. As soon as I closed the windows and turned off the fans blowing outside the fumes became unbearable again in and nearby the room where these were installed and that's weeks after unboxing them. When I finally closed the windows and removed the plastic from the Central air vents in the room ( after another full weekend airing these out with ventilation fans). The unbearable stench filled my whole house and eventually gave me a headache. I had to pull them up that night before going to bed and store them in the garage. Also I started with waring pairs of disposable vinyl gloves when removing the tiles ( laying them with bare hands the first time caused some mild skin irritation) I had to change to my leather work gloves because to my horror the vinyl ones kept dissolving where there was prolonged contact with the tiles. Maybe the batch I got is particularly bad or contaminated somehow since this doesn't match the seller's description of "a mild rubber odor that dissipates in a few days". I'm not sensitive to odors but the tiles I got are absolutely noxious. I'm still trying to figure out how to return these as the seller's return label says to apply postage like I'm mailing a letter. These are heavy and the return shipping is more than these things are worth. These things will likely be off gassing nasty, toxic VOCs from the binding agents used to glue the ground up recycled tire rubber together for a long time. I wish I had researched this bit more before purchasing . Tires themselves are only about 28% natural rubber the rest is comprised of petroleum based synthetic "rubbers" and toxic additive compounds. I don't know if it's the antimicrobial treatment, the crumb recycled tire material, the glues binding it together , or some combination , that creates the unholy, and enduring sinus burning stench. However for what amounts to about $6 per SQ foot I could have purchased virgin rubber or much better flooring that wasn't likely dumping something (formaldehyde ?) into the air. It's looking like a costly mistake buying these. ... show more

  • Glorious
Size: 6' x 8' Set Color: 10% Red
Shipping was a bit rough but they got here in the end. They fit together tightly, and no stench that lasted after 20 minutes. It is a little pricey, but I will be buying more of this when I'm ready to expand. (6' x 8' set)

  • Average Product, Average Seller
Size: 8' x 8' Set Color: 10% Blue
Installed these rubber tiles for my home gym yesterday. Took about 45 minutes by myself for an 8' x 8' area. They look great and appear seamless unless you are standing right over them. However, I question their longevity. Even with very careful attention to gently press down the interlocking pieces (then smooth over with a light mallet), some of the teeth started to fray at the edges. I DO NOT RECOMMEND these tiles if you plan on frequently assembling/reassembling. They will crumble. Even without ever moving again, I still worry that the rubber material won't hold up over regular usage / cleaning, but time will tell. Regarding the smell, yes there was a distinct chemical odor when first received (similar to the bottom of fresh running shoes?) But I was able to eliminate virtually all the odor with a combination of three approaches. First, I lay them out in the sun for a day, flipping over halfway. Second, I allowed them to further gas off for another 3 days in my garage. Lastly, I cleaned them with a neutral PH solution (which actually was the most effective of all the methods) and let them dry before installing. Voila, no more chemical odor. Now a final important comment on the purchasing process itself. Not unlike several other customers, the first shipment somehow ended up in another state. After some back and forth with the seller, they sent out another shipment about 5 days later. So I did eventually receive the product, but it took some effort to stay on top of things. Please read the seller reviews on Amazon and do some online research. This is a regular occurence, so just know what you're potentially in for. ... show more
