The glasses have a heavy feel and are made of thicker glass. This goes along well with the vintage styling. However, you can clearly see seams on each glass as well as air bubbles within the glass (pictured). I don’t use vintage glasses everyday and generally bring them out for more formal dinners with fancier plates and dinnerware. The seams and air bubbles make setting these out for a formal dining event undesirable and they will most likely become backup glasses. ... show more

I only brought a set of 4 and I’m going to order more. I put them out For Easter and I got so many compliments. I like that the glass is heavy, for me they won’t break easily.

- Made in China - Says dishwasher-safe but that's the glass. The decoration won't last if you do The glass is sturdy feeling. They have some weight to them. I like that. The glass is also decently clear, no bubbles or flaws. The rims are rounded well, comfortable to use. The decoration is also far enough down that one doesn't have to adjust too much to use them without drooling. The beaded decoration is less well done than the listing pix show. The gold rim is not too bad but was less than precisely done. I had a couple of pix but I can't find them now. I'll add them if I ever do. Still, I do like them, oddly enough because this isn't my usual style at all. ... show more

These are the thickest wine glasses I have ever seen. They each weigh over one pound. The glass is probably 1/8" to 1/4" wide. They are very clumsy to handle, too tall and, I am uncomfortable writing this, they are just ugly. Nothing about these glasses was appealing, It was a bad answer to the question, of how to make a different wine glass. Also, each glass has visible seams where it was joined. I ordered these thinking they looked interesting from the picture. The actual product was very ornate looking and the brassy gold details were just too much for me. I sent them back. That said, the weight and size of the product were as described and if this fits your style and decoration, they may work for you. Perhaps would be good for a medieval dinner theme party?? ... show more
