It almost feels weighted but it's not and the chenille is so soft. It also looks and feels very expensive. The best throw I have ever had. Have given several as gifts too!! It comes very flat and shrink wrapped but don't be fooled once opened it fluffs up beautifully.

Super thrilled with this purchase! I read tons of reviews on similar products first and am so glad I did. So, I wanted to return the favor by posting a review. First of all, this is a nice thick chenille blanket. We purchased the burnt orange which is a true burnt orange. Not orange and not Brown. We have two cats and after 4 months there are still no snags. Probably like most of you I've purchased a number of throws online and have been disappointed in the thickness and quality. This one does not disappoint. It is thick, well made, holds up to the washing machine (delicate cycle, hang dry) and the color is just perfect for Fall. Hope this helps fellow shoppers. ... show more
