It’s a great way to make sure that we don’t forget to get all the different batteries that we need. One set of batteries that we always seem to need are the 9 volt batteries. They seem to be very popular all year round. We are very happy with the Amazon Basics 8 pack. They are really well priced, We know that the quality is there or else the Amazon name would not be on them. They also have a sustainability features that definitely make them stand out much greater than other manufacturers of 9 volts. They are certified by THE NORDIC SWAN ECOLABEL. They are manufactured using processes that reduces the the risk of negative environmental impact. They are incredibly durable. These 9 volt batteries have a 5 year shelf life, they fir perfectly into the 9 volt space in any toy, or tool, where they are needed. There has not been a recorded event, that I am aware of, where a 9 volt battery has leaked. Very important, especially since we store our batteries year after year. These 9v alkaline batteries work fine, and they are offered at a compelling price. I was pleased that they were in a cardboard box and NOT packaged in a plastic clamshell. That made it easier to get to the batteries, and even though the cardboard is bulky, at least it can be recycled easily. There were two factors that almost led me to deduct a star: Each battery is individually wrapped in a cellophane wrapper. That makes it a bit of a hassle to use. While the batteries do have a five-year shelf life from date of manufacture, the batteries I received were manufactured six months before I received them, so I only am getting 4.5 years of shelf life. ... show more

The batteries are great and a good price…but each individual battery is shrink wrapped in plastic. It’s super frustrating and time consuming to sit there with a pair of scissors, making multiple cuts to get a piece of plastic big enough to start unwrapping each one. If multiple were shrink wrapped together it wouldn’t be as annoying…but it’s each battery. ... show more

Much less cost than the two bigger name brands with equal performance AND equal shelf life as well. I have 3 active pickup guitars so these are a necessity especially when each guitar uses 2, 9-volt batteries each. The batteries easily last 20-30 hours but the last thing I need is to pickup my guitar with one dead battery and be unable to practice or even play.
