  • My dog seemed okay with this food at first.
Flavor Name: Lamb & Vegetable
We’ve been told that our Jazzy is allergic to chicken and beef and that we should confine her to lamb and salmon until further notice. I’m not sure about the Wag food for us. To me, it has an unusual and rather unpleasant smell. Our little girl was receptive enough during the first case, so I ordered two additional cases at once. Well, a few cans into the new order and she became a little less enthused. I primed the pump by buying fresh lamb chops at the supermarket and making a yummy gravied pot roast with her fav veggies. I mix my pot roast with the Wag Lamb Stew and so far it is working. Two cons about the Wag for me: As mentioned, the weird smell and the gravy too viscous. I’m shopping for something more to our liking (mine and hers), but given our situation, I might have to buy this again until I find the right food at a price - that isn’t insultingly painful. Willing to pay a little more for the qualities that I’m looking for in a pet food, but I refuse to be gouged and insulted. I did a review earlier today on another brand that I had high hopes of trying; unfortunately, when it came back in stock, I discovered that the price was too rich for my blood. Actually, even if I could afford it, I would not pay their asking price. I’ve been taught that you should not encourage bad behavior. Comparatively speaking, the Wag food price is reasonable, and it might be perfect for some folks; it just does not check all the boxes for us. ... show more

  • Dogs love it
Flavor Name: Beef & Vegetable
Bought to donate to a rescue and the dogs love it. This will definitely help stretch donations because we won't have to buy the super expensive brands

  • My dogs don't like it as much as Pedigree chunks
Flavor Name: Beef & Vegetable
Dog food is getting so expensive I thought I would try this instead of what I was using. Immediately obvious is the color of the meat. It is possible that Pedigree simply adds some sort of chemical but the WAG chunks were a very unappetizing gray color. I'm not the one eating it of course but all I can tell you is what I observed. The dogs didn't jump into it as eagerly as the other food either. I may buy this again because it is cheaper but for now I'm going back to what I used previously. ... show more

  • My dog loves it!
Flavor Name: Chicken & Vegetable
The dog gobbles it down. My old company got too hard to get during covid. I wish it came in organic and had better ingredients. But the dog loves it!

  • Abused dog is finally feeling safe and loved.
Flavor Name: Variety Pack (Lamb & Beef)
Our dog Cooper puts his head down and doesn't come up until the bowl is empty and shining. We got Cooper after he was abused in two different situations and he was afraid of everything, including his food. It does our hearts good to see him look forward to Dinner. Happy Dog!!!

  • My dogs love this brand! No upset tummies!
Flavor Name: Beef & Vegetable
Here’s what I like about this dog food: 1. It’s affordable! Compared to many other brands, Wag is an excellent value. 2. My dogs have very sensitive stomachs. Other types of food can cause them to vomit. Wag has never caused any upset stomach. Which equals, no poop and dog vomit to get on the floor! 3. They love the way it tastes. I feed my dogs dried food in combination with Wag stew. They ALWAYS prefer Wag over the other dried food. I have no complaints with this brand and highly recommend this food for your fur babies! ... show more

  • Good canned dog food
Flavor Name: Beef & Vegetable
This is a good brand of dog food overall. Our 91 pound great Pyrenees loves it. It does appear to be a bit more water laden than I would prefer, but the dog enjoys it. And that ultimately is what matters. I would buy this again.

  • An Economic Alternative over Purina Pro Plan
Flavor Name: Beef & Vegetable
Our Lab was being fed Purina Pro Plan slices in gravy which she enjoyed. However, there came a period where this particular recipe became unavailable. Concerned over the erradic cost of wet dog food, I then found the WAG brand by Amazon. (It is too early to fully rate the WAG brand at this time.) The cost per/12 cans appeared much lower than the Purina Pro Plan "equivalent". A case was recently delivered and I must say, our Lab simply dug into it with no hisitation. The consistency of the meaty chunks appeared very good as well as the texture and taste of the brown gravy in veggies. I began introducing the WAG brand along with the Purina label in measured amounts in order to avoid her from having an upset stomach while switching foods. All has worked out well. Her elimination is quite normal and she does not hesitate when the WAG brand is in her food dish. Should this positive trial period continue, I will begin switching over to WAG permanently. (As a footnote, although only having received one order so far, I have found zero dented cans with the WAG case of food vs. numerous dented cans when ordering the Purina One label.) ... show more
