  • Nice ass drill
Has the power it need to be effective my main drill in my detail shop

  • Works like a champ for around the house DIY projects
I bought this drill and extra battery because we just moved into a new home requiring all sorts of assembly and installation projects. My 20-year old Black & Decker died, necessitating a replacement. I have used it to install 11 sets of cordless blinds, multiple shelving units and floating shelves, assemble and install five different cabinets of different types and a hasp lock on a new shed. I have never had to swap batteries and the lowest it registered after several hours of use was 2 of 4 bars. The chuck is easy to use and does not slip very often. The torque is highly adjustable. It is compact, light and feels good in your hand. Money well spent. ... show more

  • Nice drill, but kind of a tricky marketing ploy.
Drill seems OK for the little bit of work I need one for. It looks like it has enough power, for example, to rod out short runs of pipe that might get clogged. and of course, putting screws in wood, doing minor furniture assembly, and so on. I have an ancient (12-year-old) Panasonic drill that uses a nickel metal hydride battery, and if I don't use it for a couple months, it's completely out of power. So I got this one to replace it because maybe I'll be able to use a drill at a moment's notice. Good points: - Lightweight - Lithium battery (not unusual these days...) so why 4 stars? - Only one battery, and an extra costs almost as much as the drill. - No carrying case - I saw a sneaky trick on amazon; I could have gotten tis drill, a 36-bit drill set, and a carrying case for a dollar less than I paid for the drill. If I had the time or energy, I'd send this one back. May still (see below about the battery.) I put the battery on to charge maybe 20 minutes ago, with 3 out of 4 solid LEDs, and it's still charging. I'll be interested to see how long it takes to finish. Well, almost an hour, and it's still charging. And the charger is not very warm, compared to the old Panasonic, which could chare athe NIMH battery from dead in less than an hour. Which is why Amazon should have included 2 batteries in the kit. And the charger should have been 2A, not 1A. I will update this review if, and when, I actually have to put the drill through its paces. It will be interesting to see if the battery is usable without a new charge at that time. ... show more

  • Amazing Drill For The Price!
This Drill comes with the charger and 2 batteries. I havent even needed the second battery because of how long it lasts. I've had cheap drills my entire adult life and this feel different. It has more power and gets the job done with ease. Highly recommend.

  • Pleasantly surprised at the quality
I was planning on re-roofing the metal roof on the house so decided to get a cordless drill to drive the screws. Don't have a need to use the driver daily like a professional would, so tried this one. First test was to place 65 deck screws 3" long to finish a porch. This driver handled it with ease. Then I put a metal roof on the porch. Did not count the number 1.5" screws for that, but guess about 20. After these 2 tasks the battery still had 1/2 charge left. I'm impressed. I'm sure it will handle the house roof fine next summer. ... show more

  • Nice for the price
Drilling and screws
Reviewed in the United States on September 2, 2024 by It didn't fit just rt ,had to do a little extra work.

  • Not very powerful but okay for light duty chores around the house.
Not a very powerful drill. The batteries are okay and the charger fills them up pretty quick but don't expect to spend all day using this thing for more than drilling a few small holes or driving some screws. It just lacks power for anything but light duty. More than once trying to drill through some very thin metal it locks up and thermal protection kicks in. That said, I knew this going in and it does the light duty work just fine. It is driven by a carbon brush motor and sparks will come out the vents when using it so don't be alarmed, that is normal for this type of motor just like old school corded power drills. Just don't use it around gasoline or very close to flammable materials while using it. The LED light is okay but is near the battery and points up casting shadows on the screw/wall area you are trying to see. ... show more
