I’m really coming to appreciate the Amazon Basics brand, and this “box spring” (should be called a “platform”, but the industry is sticking with this) is another great example of why. Well priced compared to competing products and arrived on time and in good shape. Very light materials that also felt quite sturdy (yay material science!) and high quality. Simple instructions and easy to set up, even by one person. Final result looks good and feels solid so far. Fits a queen mattress perfectly and fits within a standard metal frame snugly. Can’t really ask for more. Some tips for assembling solo: 1) If you have a frame, sit the middle hinges of the first part on the frame so you can do the rest elevated. 2) When doing step 2 and putting the end brackets on, grab the hand bolts from step 3 and put them in loosely to hold each corner in place as you do the rest of them. Then just tighten them in step 3. 3) Step 4 was a little tricky so align both ends carefully before pushing either one into place. 4) When putting in the horizontal slats on step 5) do the same as in step 4, align both ends before pushing either one fully down. 6) I found the hardest solo part to be the cover in step 7. Standing the frame on its side with the zipper start/end of the cover on the top made it easier for me to get it on without help. Probably a bit easier with 2 people, but I hope these tips help if you want or need to do it solo! ... show more

I like how you have the option to assemble and disassemble for when you're moving around because lot of times box springs are usually fixed and cannot be moved so easily. Very sturdy.

Best assembly purchase EVER!!! I purchased the bed frame and felt a little discouraged due to the weight of bringing the box in the house. This is an amazing box spring. It was so easy to assemble and so easy to move. I will never buy a regular box spring again. So sturdy. Not loud at all. The best part. If you ever have to move it and store it. It breaks down so compact. It’s recyclable, so much better on the environment, although I don’t think after this one I’ll ever need one again. Plus you can wash the whole cover if needed. What more could anyone ask for!! I LOVE things that can be cleaned. The delivery was amazing too. It came so quick, right to my door. Only in one box that can also be recycled with ease instead of 30 boxes that make you cringe and wonder “how long is it going to take me to get rid of all of these”... WILL highly recommend to anyone in need or want to replace that gross old box spring. Thank you for making this awesome and ease design!! Love it!! On a second note. 9” is rather high, probably should have gone with the 5”. I’m 5’10 and my hubby is over 6 ft. We might have to use a stair or two to get into bed. Box spring was very easy to set up and seems durable enough . I’m using it for a guest room so it won’t be used regularly . I imagine it will be perfect for occasional use . My only complaints 1. It was missing a screw for one of the corners but I was able to scrounge up a screw to replace it . 2. I wish the slats were more secure , I feel like those could eventually pop out causing issues . Otherwise I would say this is a decent product and I would recommend ... show more
