The exterior material is comfortable but could be better, it is clumpy inside (I've only had it for 2 days, may get better later, I don't know) Is heavy and big, 2 small people can use it at the same time or 1 big person very comfortable. It is not washable and I would recommend put a softer fabric to cover it and protect it. Overall not too bad ... show more

It's amazing. I love it. My husband loves it. Our cats love it. Great naps for the whole family and it's not even fully puffed up yet. The material is also thick enough that we're not to worried about our cats tearing it up — they definitely could if they used it consistently as a scratching post, but there's no worries when they're making biscuits. It's also mildly pet hair resistant, in that the pet hair that winds up on it is easy to remove. The only weird thing is the zipper—it doesn't come with the actual piece you hold to zip and unzip, and there's a label on it that reccommends using a paperclip. When I saw the box on the porch I was angry. I just knew this was another one of those purchases that was going to have to be returned. Wrong!! I bought this for my husband for his birthday and he loves it! He could never get comfortable watching tv in the living room. Not the chair, the couch, or the floor. This is a game changer. Warning though, it’s very large and pretty heavy. So it’s semi permanent, you can’t just grab it and throw it in the spare room, you have to drag it!! ... show more

It did have a very slight odor when originally unboxing it. It isn’t very noticeable though nor overwhelming. It went away rather quickly. It expanded well before the 4-5 day range and more like a day. Super comfy and heavy.
