We put in a large wood stove this summer to combat the price of natural gas/propane. I've been loading a large wagon with cut wood and kindling from our home woodlot and bringing it onto the patio at the front porch steps and we go down and grab a few logs and carry them up onto the porch and into the house. It's awkward carrying them in our arms so I ordered the large-sized, black (with the brown striped handles) wood tote and it has really made carrying wood indoors so much easier. Nice design so that the wood doesn't easily fall out and it seems to be sturdy and well made as well as being attractive. The woven handles are long enough to be able to hold them both together in one hand after loading quite a bit of wood into the tote. For me, this tote holds about as much wood as I'd want to carry at any one time so I think it's perfect. My husband really likes it too though I try to bring wood in each afternoon for the night and next morning so that he needn't deal with that (he does a lot of other stuff so I try to pitch in). I've never had another wood tote so I cannot compare them, and having just gotten it I cannot speak to how long it will last but as far as I'm concerned this tote was well worth the price and I'm happy to have it. ... show more

I absolutely love this log tote bag. It is one of those items after using it you go WOW,, I should of really got this a long time ago. We have a nice fireplace and my spouse and I and my 8 year old son get very cold easily so we use the fireplace to help cut down on the heating bill. We love our fireplace and love a nice warm fire to make our living room warm and comfortable . Even with how wonderful that big nice fire is, every time the wood comes in there is bits of pieces of leaves and bark and dirt and that yucky log stuff that end up on my nice rug! I assumed this was being careless but I was assured it was being brushed outside and the very best efforts were made to make sure it didn't happen! I started watching and sure enough I saw it many times the effort that was being put into getting the firewood clean and even with all the trying it was still happening. I said to myself why even put the vacuum cleaner up in the winter and then I came across this! Let me tell you I love this thing ! No more dirt and debris on my carpets ! My spouse said it was amazing how many good sized logs he could put in this ! He also said it was easier to bring in this way and plus he wasn't all covered in that log stuff on his shirt and pants etc. It is made of a very good canvass like material so need for worries by weight or moisture destroying this anytime soon ! It folds up nice and we keep it in our front door closet! So yes this definitely all 5 stars for a great product and a great price. Easier to carry all this logs for my spouse and less vacuuming for me! I wish I could give it ten stars ! Alright so right out of the bag it came in the creases from being folded disappear after one use. The Velcro strap on one of the handles isn’t really necessary but I suppose if you’re traveling far or up stairs it could be helpful, otherwise it just takes time to Velcro and un-do. After loading it up a few times I realized it helps to hold one handle up while you load the wood. It helped gauge the height of how many logs I could put in at once and have the handles still meet together when I was done loading. All the wood pictured was loaded continuously without stopping and not one time did I think this thing was gonna break on me. Carrying the wood down by your side with the handles could be a bit of a challenge so at some points I held the handles up to my chest and got another arm under the carrier and it helped me carry it as you would traditionally. Of course I carried about 50% more then I could with my arms alone. When I got inside with the wood, I found it helpful to hold the handle with the Velcro on it and let gravity roll the wood out the other side, I even was tugging on it to pull it out from under the wood and no rips or damage. The handles are one continuous strap that runs to the other side and it’s stitched completely the entire way, small but very important detail for durability. The pictures taken were after loading without cleaning or anything. I was loading large logs, small logs, muddy wood, wet wood, sharp wood and had zero problems with the canvas, not a single fiber out of place. The thing is durable and it does exactly what it should and I definitely would recommend it. Im considering buying another one to carry 2 at once to help balance out myself as I carry wood inside! ... show more
