It looks nice and is easy to use. However, it has to be cleaned with something that will dissolve the incense resin buildup around the top. It will cause the top to fuse itself closed. The unit is also fragile if dropped or bumped. Already had to use glue on mine after accidentally dropping the top. All that said, I’m still glad that I bought it. ... show more

I bought this to burn some frankincense and myrrh. The reviews were pretty good and this looked like the nicest one on offer. I was very pleased when I received it a few days later. It's actually bigger than I thought it would be, and is very well made! Sturdy and nicely designed, it's made of wood, metal inside and nicely decorated. The only complaint I have is that the top sticks a little bit to the base, and I'm guessing that's because of the resin created by burning frankincense and myrrh. The burner is a very good looking piece, but, it broke in shipment. This was not due to the service, but seems to be a lack of adequate packing material. However, the breaks were clean and I was able to repair with ceramic glue. Not something I want to do with new items!
