I thought I was going to get a broken item, however it wasn't. I think I was just lucky in regards to that. The actual item itself is pretty and the material was heavy and thicker than anticipated. I love that unlike other burners this is beautiful and does not get hot. You don need to be concerned about burning your desk or coffee table. The only change I would make would be an option to close off or control the amount of smoke/burning resin escaping the top.

I’ll keep this short and sweet. This incense burner has gotten so much attention in my home. The way the smoke comes out gives it an even more luxurious feel. Well designed. Love that it comes with tongs. Well worth the money.

It's a bit gaudy and larger than I expected, and while not of the best quality craftsmanship, it's adequate for burning loose incense. However, if you use resin incense, you'll notice that it leaves a sticky residue that's difficult to clean off, and the "removable" ash catching tray will become a permanent, non-removeable feature. I ordered this incense burner, because I was looking for a larger sized one. So, I mostly over looked the poor paint job. But, then I used it once and found the the heat from the charcoal discolored the lid; from a single use. This to me indicated that the material that it is made from is not stable for long term use, at the high temperatures of the charcoal. I am going to return it. ... show more
