    • Not as good as OEM but a better value than polishing lenses
What is your time worth? For less than $75 I have a new set of lenses that really lift the looks of a truck with 200K on the odometer, as well as putting light output back to As-New. A polish kit AND a can of 2k clear to refresh the original lenses would cost about $35-40. It took about 1 hour to remove and install the new lamps and, to do it right, I would have had to remove and install the OEM for polishing. So add another hour to that polishing project. Plus Quality: The body, lenses and screws are all as GOOD or BETTER than OEM. The original plastics on connectors (20+ years old) were breaking from age, so these are at least better on that account. Are these as good as NOS OEM? No not really. Are they within 90+% of OEM? I'd say yes. Flaws: the bulb connection brackets/grommets do not match OEM but work. They *might* be an improvement, but I can't say for sure. If you've held enough NOS parts, you can feel the difference between them and aftermarket. But a lot of aftermarket parts feel like junk and these don't. This is a relatively easy project for a car that probably does more for the appearance of a vehicle than most things short of new paint. If you can change your oil, you can probably do this on most cars. If you can take apart and reassemble a PC, you can do this. So: Improved lighting, a clean look, and less than an hour's time (if you do it in a resonantly well lit area and not by flash light like some people writing reviews on Amazon). ... show more

This was an option I could have used instead of paying for a headlight restoration kit that cost nearly half the price of these headlights. They came securely packed with a protective film covering the plastic lenses. They don't seem any less quality to me than the originals. Install was the same. Just set the adjustment screws the same as what you had before installing. ... show more

The headlight assemblies fit perfectly where the OEM ones came out. The side marker lights were a bit of a challenge. They have an upper wing that doesn’t fit perfectly into the OEM space. But I was able to trim off the upper edge and get it to fit fine. That’s the only reason it’s only 4 stars instead of 5! ... show more

Ordered/received the pair of headlight assemblies for my 2003 Ford Ranger Edge Truck. Very easy to install. I replaced the headlight assemblies and the side marker lights. The kit contained both. I recommend replacing all the light bulbs before reinstalling the headlights and side lights. I bought the Sylvania 9007 SilverStar Ultra Halogen Headlight Bulb, Pack of 2. Took me less than 10 minutes a side to replace. All I needed was a flat head screwdriver to lift the locking tabs on each side of the headlight and to lift the clip on the headlight bulb sockets. I also need a phillips screwdriver to remove the side marker lightss. You can purchase the headlight assembly kit and replacement bulbs from amazon. All together well worth the cost and it's a DIY project! ... show more
