Looking at these, I wasn’t entirely sure that they would work, but they surprised me. They both held water whether or not they fit tightly in various drains. They do have a chemical odor which bothers me, so they will need to be aired out thoroughly before I can use them. As far as how they manage to hold water so well, I can only assume that a suction occurs that allows them to fit tightly into an odd sized drain. Removal is simple. They’re white and they’re much more attractive than old fashioned stoppers. And definitely more functional because they can fit into various sizes of drains. They appear to be of good quality. This works SO well!! I've gotten tired of replacing the $25-$30 toe-stopper every year because of its flimsy rubber ring tearing, and decided to try this, based on reviews. So glad I did. I went with the sm/lg set. The large fits my garden tub and the small fits my daughter's tub (her toe-stopper wore out, too, but she's been using a flat stopper that was plain white (the black blends better with the aged bronze fixtures). I don't even need to push it in to the drain opening, I just lightly set it in and it holds every drop of water. Its thick, so I don't see it wearing out the way the traditional toe-stopper rubber ring did. Very happy with my purchase!! ... show more

I was so tired of my old bathtub stopper letting water slowly drain out, making baths less enjoyable and wasting water. I like that this model bathtub stopper is designed to fit multiple size drains. It plugged the drain completely (no trickling water escaping from the tub) and the knob on top made it easy to take out.

This probably works great for some bathtubs. But I got the impression it was universal and it did not work for mine. I was able to fit it into the drain hole, but tub water still seeps around the edges.
