This is a beautifully machined aluminum cage. I wasn't familiar with the brand but I was attracted by the handle to add stability and another way to grip, especially for low camera angles. It has exceeded my expectations. The fit is secure and there are holes literally everywhere to allow for mounting of all the accessories you might need in a variety of configurations. I do a lot of cinematography work and need more than one camera cage sometimes. This particular camera cage worked great with my Sony A7RIV. Fitment was plenty tight. On a lot of these cages there's typically a small allen screw that can be used towards the upper left or upper right area of the camera to help secure the camera, which was not the case with this cage. However the 1/4" mount screw on the bottom and the rubber footprint gave the camera a solid securement. In other words, once I tightened down the 1/4" screw, the camera didn't move at all and was securely mounted. As far as the handle, I actually found it better balanced pointing forward instead of pointing backwards, as you will see from my photos. That's usually the configuration I find better balance with, as my lenses typically can be fairly heavy. Build quality is SOLID!! the price is also just right and what it should be I feel. Compared to the competition this is really a nice value and has all the things you need. Great that it included a tool that is magnet so you don't lose it and it has all the necessary holes for you to attach more things to it if you wanted. I tried using this for filming a short video and the handle is great. If you are looking for an entry level case or even mid range with all the threads in the places you will need, this is the one to get for the price. definitely won't be disappointed. ... show more

This cage has great fitment to my camera. It is super convenient to have mounting points for accessories and fixings all over the camera. The placement of all of the holes gives you plenty of options. It also looks great and doesn't get in the way of handling the camera, it makes it a bit more convenient in my opinion.
