    • Surprisingly Good. Here are the details.
I really did not expect much from a 12v powered drill that I ordered as a convenience drill for the house over a work horse drill for my shop, but they surprised me with this. When you first take this out of the box and hold it you a a bit taken back by the weight of it from the motor and gear box. Not what you aspect to feel at all. Then when you turn it on, it has that big drill work feel to it. Doing a lot of drilling is something I just finished up with on a project taking over 1,000 screws into timber with my big 20v Teccpo high 530 In-lbs Torque drill. I'm betting this would have been able to do the job just as well too. It has a powerful motor and good clutch torque system just like my larger drill. It has a speed selector up top for slower screw speeds and faster drilling speeds. It has a nice LED light that points at the job you are working on. And best of all, the battery power level lights are right on the drill itself in plain sight where you look at all the time and not hidden on the battery pack. The trigger speed control is very nice and stable for those jobs that require the slowest of turn speeds on upwards to higher speeds. So good power and speed control throughout the range. These are all things I liked about this little powerhouse on 12v pack. Now let’s talk about what the manufacturer could have improved upon if they read this review. Although the hand grip is nice and pretty much fits your hand well, it has a big rounded design which I know is hollow. This would have been a great place for some storage groves or compartments for most used screw bits. The battery pack I found pretty stubborn to pull out. Maybe that will loosen up a bit after time and use, but pretty darn hard to get out. What looks like a release buttons on the battery sides in green is just decoration. So don't waste time pressing it thinking it will help the battery to come out easier. Lastly the drills and bits that come with it are just lose in a little plastic bag like some kind of afterthought and would be more impressive in at least a little cheap plastic holder. Just saying... The pluses far out weight the minus on this drill. And the smaller size makes it a great drill to keep in a tool box or utility tool drawer. The battery charger base has charge LED lights on it both red and green along with long enough power cord with plug in transformer to wall receptacle. All in all I would have to say this is a great little drill to have with 310 in-lbs of power torque to do most any short term job at hand in the 3/8" chuck range. ... show more

    • Nice for projects around the house
This is a nice lightweight drill perfect for use around the house. The drill comes with one battery and a charger, don't pay too much attention to the included bits. If you don't already have your own bits for a drill then you're going to need to buy some as over half of the ones that came with mine were bent and broken. For the price though that's more than ok with me because this drill is a steal at this price point. There are tons of torque available I couldn't bog it down when I actually tried to. It is very lightweight and easy to handle, my wife said it was the easiest drill to handle she's ever tried. Which is nice because I can let her drill her holes and hang pictures around the house all by herself without worrying about it. The battery has a decent life to it and charges pretty quickly. I'm not sure about from dead as I haven't killed the battery all the way yet, but I haven't had to charge it for more than two hours at a time since I received it. There is a little led bulb right above the trigger that lights up as soon as the drill engages which is nice in helping you see what you're doing. This light cannot be disabled though so you can't turn it off to save battery life. It has all the standard features that a drill twice its price has and is well worth the money. I recommend it 100% for use around the house, I wouldn't purchase it to take to work on a construction job though. If you just want a little drill, you can pick up and use for hanging pictures or putting some shelves together at the house buy this with confidence! ... show more

    • Altocraft Cordless Drill - Good Value Compact Drill
If you need a compact and lightweight cordless drill, this is a good option. It has all of the features that you would expect from a drill like this. While this is not a super premium model, it seems to hold its charge extremely well, at least during the first few weeks of use. I haven't had to recharge it yet. One downside of these kinds of drills is that it doesn't have one of those battery packs that you can swap out. That means it won't work with extra batteries and it also means that when you wear this battery out, it will be very difficult to service it. Most people are just getting a new drill at that point. CONCLUSION Given the performance so far, I am OK with saying this is a good option. This is particularly handy if you are doing the kind of job where you are occasionally having to use it throughout the day. I'm happy with it so far. ... show more

I like that this drill driver is small and lightweight. It seems powerful enough to complete any job I would need it for. This kit comes with several drill bits and drivers. The chuck part of this drill driver feels like lighter weight and lower quality than other drill drivers I have.
