These items are pretty solid and sturdy. I have not connected the charger completely yet so I am not sure how well they will hold up. I'm not sore? What type of cord they expect? However, when using these for an EV cable, the supplied hardware will not work over time. These will loosen in the wall. The company did not supply any anchors. I did have to use my own anchors for support because just the simple screws will end up pulling out of the drywall with the weight of the cable. I bought this for my Audi Etron charger. It is well made and easy to install. I wish there were some basic instructions included ( I took a couple of pictures hoping that it will make it easier for you). I have been using command strips to keep my battery pack mounted on the wall. This is such a better solution and was super easy to install. It worked great for my 2022 etron battery pack.

I have a 2021 Prius Prime. The slot for wall hanging part for the plug box is not wide enough for the bottom part of my unit so it's wobbly in the box, but it's not a big deal. We ended up hanging that part sideways because of our limited wall space near the outlet. The other part that holds the cord and handle works perfectly! There are no directions, but it was easy to figure out how to put it together to work for my plug based on the photos and a little trial and error. This thing is made out of metal. It has FIVE mounting holes in the back. This isn't some plastic holder. We have a Tesla Model Y and a Bolt EV. I didn't want to get a dedicated Tesla charger holder, as I have no idea if we are going to be driving a Tesla the rest of our lives. I opted to get these which will work with practically any mobile charger on the market (but be sure to check the dimensions of your charger). Be sure to install them the correct distance from the plug, not too far, not to close. That way, it'll take the tension off the receptacle from having to hold the charger. This should increase the life of your outlet. I plugged in my charger, placed the holder where if would go on the wall with the charger inside, and marked a small part of the holder's top and sides with pencil on the wall (you can't mark the screw holes with the charger resting in it). I then unplugged my charger and held up the holder to my markings and marked the screw holes. Be sure to also use a level to make sure you aren't installing it crooked. Nice sturdy aluminum bracket. Good black paint. The notch for the cable needs to be widened a little and cut all the way to the back to fit the Audi e-tron charger.
