The seat is also shaped in a way that it feels like it will tip forward if I lean forward at all. This chair would work great for smaller people, but it is not great for plus sizes. This was my third set of barstools from Amazon. I purchased these because I wanted the air lift system. But I wanted to be able to turn all the way around while sitting at the bar. And the ones with a small arm or side to the barstools you were not able to do that. The seats on these are extremely comfortable and fit everyone who sits in them. The fabric is a pleather, that will clean up nicely. They look beautiful even though they are more modern and I have a very BoHo country style. The price was absolutely right on these barstools…BUT YOU NEED TO KNOW… They are very light weight, and are very tippy. They really needed a much heavier bass.
