Very nice stools. Needed 3 stools for our island but they only come In packs of two and it would be nice if they sold singles so I guess I just have a spare. Overall it was very easy to assemble and the construction of the chairs seem well built and sturdy. They gray color is very nice and really like the distressed look on leather. Oh and our kids also love these chairs. I would recommend for your home use. Not sure about an every day restaurant or bar use. ... show more

Excellent purchase. Came a little scraped up but, no one will look that close anyway. Overall design and fee is amazing. Took me months to find the right bar stools. Glad I purchased these. Bought in gray.

Considering I sit on these much longer than most since I use it to sit at a tall desk for working at home during COVID19, the comfort isn't quite as soft as I had hoped but it does the trick and it doesn't make my back hurt which is surprising.

Overall, these barstools are very nice and seem sturdy. There is an issue where the seat back angles are different, however. It’s hard to see when the chairs are photographed side by side. So to illustrate, I used a tape measure to show the difference in the angles. You really don’t notice these things until after assembly, which by that time is too late. I don’t believe the seats were bent in shipping, even though the box had some damage. (Shipped via US Postal Service.) I say this because I tried to bend one seat back to even it up with the other seat but it would not budge. During assembly, I had to use tweezers to remove wood chips from the seat bottom holes where the mounting screws go in. The chips in the holes prevented the bolts from anchoring. These issues are quality control issues with the manufacturer, which costs one star. I knocked off another star for the method of shipping. When it comes to items like this, I trust FedEx or UPS over the USPS. ... show more

I needed chairs for the island in my kitchen and these are pretty decent. They were delivered earlier than stated - Thanks Amazon. Pros: - Easy assembly - Height adjustable - Rubber base keeps floors from getting scuffed - The foot rest is convenient Cons: - The base is wide, but has no weight to them so they are pretty easy to move/slip - The seat dips slightly when you sit on it and on numerous occasions, the seat back got jammed under the counter when I got up off of the seat. It hasn't damaged the plastic edge yet, but I know it is just a matter of time before it does. - The seat design is such that when try and sit back, the bump in the middle of the chair pushes against your lower back. In other words, you can't sit all the way back in the seat, but the seats are pretty comfortable. Overall not a bad chair. The cons are more annoying than anything else. ... show more

    • They Look Nice, but feel a little unstable.
These are really nice chairs. I'm glad I went with the purchase. They are used on the island counter in my kitchen, and really do look good. However, I am somewhat leary about how stable they are if one was to really sit back in a lounging position in them. They feel a little flimsy even when putting your resting weight of your lower back on them. I'm not one for tempting fate, so I've not really tried to put them to the test of sitting back in them for a prolonged amount of time, but I do get a sense when sitting in them that you probably shouldn't push your luck.
