Definitely the best gift you could get for someone going through chemo. Also nice for anyone who likes a nice, soft head-wrap (who would be me), although if you're sporting a lot of hair, it may be a more snug fit? This is straight out of the package to my (clean, extension-less) head and it's light as a feather, soft as can be. Lightweight, too, so it won't be too hot during the summer, which will be nice for anyone dealing with body head regulation issues (including me). The wispy scarf can be worn down or tied up in a cute bow. I'm thinking this might also make a good cleaning headcloth to keep hair clean while you bandy the cobwebs about on your ceiling or stir up a ton of dust. Looks very elegant to boot. The print is gentle and should blend with most outfits. I love the blue, but the other options were pretty as well. I've gotten several of these over the years for "extra hair off/hair down" days, and a lot promise to be soft and silky and turn out to be anything but that. This one is the real deal, and hopefully the bamboo will add a layer of coolness for the hot weather (I cannot quit talking about how much I love my bamboo sheets - they really ARE cooler!). My head is a bit smaller and this fits just right over my very fine hair, so if you have a larger head, it may feel a little snug or need some stretching out to get that "not wearing a thing" feeling. Then again, I'm one of those "I don't want to feel the clothes I'm wearing" people. But it should fit most average sized heads with no issue. It's difficult for anyone to deal with hair loss, and there are so many inelegant solutions for head coverings that just compound the stress, but this one hits the mark for comfort, beauty, and elegance. A great choice for yourself, and a great gift for anyone going through medical difficulties. I'm 100% impressed. Would give 10 stars if I could. Get this, some brow pomade, and a nice, moisturizing lip balm/gloss for yourself or your female friends going through chemo and help them feel pretty whether at home or going out. So much of medical treatment today can feel so depersonalizing. That first time you gussy up a bit after undergoing treatment(s) can feel so good - help remind the body that someone lively and pretty and full of life is still in there.
