For a while I wasn’t sure if this product works, as we use it in combination with other things (purina live clear cat food), but one time I had forgotten to spray prior to having guests- one guest with bad cat allergies said it was much worse this time, not knowing about the allergen spray. Other guests with cat allergies have said our house is better than most. I’ve used this several times, and will keep purchasing. We regularly have guests over, so the day of or before I liberally spray all areas guests will be with this spray. Especially any soft furnishings, carpet, sofas etc., but also hard floors and coffee table etc. Then I wipe down the house and vacuum floor and sofas. The spray doesn’t have any scent, and honestly just looks like water once it’s dissolved. We haven’t had any issues with damaging fabrics at all. For those interested, we also try to throw any throw blankets in the wash, air out the house, and our cat is on purina live clear. I was skeptical. We have a house full. A house full of three cats and one dog, sometimes three when we have the cousin furbabies visit. After we rescued a family of cats, a Mom and three kittens, my husband decided to tell me he's allergic. He started taking the usual once a day otc meds, but they didn't seem to help. I bought a competitive brand that worked okay. This brand is the best! Besides freshening up the room, all allergens seem to disappear like magic! I have to spray the bedroom every 3 or 4 days, and my husband's area once a week. He's sneezing and coughing so much less now. He dies have COPD, so he's always going to have a little, but this spray has made our lives easier, and it's affordable. I love that it's just the mix that I receive. I'm writing this review with a bit of reluctance. Seems to work well; but I think it works, because you are literally putting a coating on everything you own, so it can not fly around and make you more sick. So keep that in mind.. Don't spray this around your TVs or at least cover them, because you will have spots on your screens you can't seem to get off again. Same for glass, but at least you can use cleaners on glass; can't use cleaners on TV screens. Found that out the Hard way. Other than that, seems to help. ... show more

I bought this skeptically thinking it would be just another thing I tried and tossed. But I was wrong. I don’t know how it works, but it really DOES work. My husband is incredibly allergic to one of our cats to the point that when she gets within 5 feet of him his eyes water and burn, his nose runs, he coughs and sneezes, etc. I tried everything: constant vacuuming, windows open Year round for fresh air, allergy meds, you name it. After the first time spraying the house, that was it. No more allergy symptoms. He can now hold Miss Dixie, cuddle her in bed, and it no longer bothers him. Please don’t ever discontinue. I am so shocked that this works. I don't understand how and I don't care. I am severely allergic to cats and our kitten adopted us and has not tried to even leave the house since she was found in our bedroom. I was still having some issues with my skin burning, and tingling or shortness of breath with any contact with our cat, even with feeding her only Purina Liveclear. My daughter also has severe asthma, and although she didn't test positive for cat allergies, I was beginning to suspect that some issues were beginning. This has saved us. She went back to her baseline asthma symptoms and attack frequency and I don't have many issues now except for having to wash my hands after touching her and having to brush her with gloves and mask on (mostly precautions though). I don't know whether or not this will keep working but for the last 4 months, we have been spraying this around the house and on fabric every evening, as well as laundering bedding and washable fabrics frequently and we are fine so far. 2 of my kids need the cat as an emotional support animal so it would be devastating to have to remove her since she is so sweet.
