This gel is the best I've come across so far for my wiry, thick 4C hair. It slicks and keeps my edges and hair in place without making it hard even after it dries and there's no flaking. I like that it is also of a dark color that makes my grey edges seem darker. Those with light hair might be able to find it in clear gel. I love how this product helps with braiding and twists. It also doubles as edge control. I use this over other gels and waxes to lay my edges down. When I say extreme, they don't move for 10-12 hours. I am glad I found this product and will definitely purchase it again.

I braid my daughter's hair a lot for jiu jitsu tournaments so I was looking for a braid gel that could really hold up to the sweat and the grappling - this was way, way too hard to work with. My daughter's hair is way too thin for this. She would need really thick textured hair for me to work with this. It dries extremely fast and it is really close to glue in texture. It absolutely holds well and would have been perfect for my other daughter who has really really thick strands of hair.
