Our bright over indulged granddaughter loved it. It functions in various ways. She positioned a tiny stuffed toy in its arms and made for it to play hide and seek with an adult hiding from the robot with the stuffed toy. Unlike others we did not think it was too loud. My first thought when I opened the box is wow this is little. Much smaller than expected but I didn't really check the size so that's my fault. However, it makes up for its small size with cuteness. Love the small size and pink color option. Does not move well on carpet! Plays a couple tunes, but would be neat if it had some "word" sound features. This item was a gift to my Granddaughter. She loved it. We were not aware that it needed batteries to operate it. Guess I did not read the description correctly. When it first started the sound was EXTREMELY loud.

We bought this robot for our daughter so that she could enjoy playing with it, but now we never let her use it because it's so loud that it disrupts the entire household if she gets it out. I do not recommend buying this toy
