This set is a great value indeed. It comes with everything you could possibly want/need in a makeup kit. It's not great quality. Most of the products I found were drying out my skin. The eye shadows look nice but when applied are not very pigmented. The concealer creams sit weird on the skin. The tube concealer is very thick and not very workable. The eyeliner I loved but it dried out and became hard to apply after a few uses. The color of the eyebrow pencil was not universal and was unflattering. The lip glosses were pretty but the matte colors were too drying. It made for a lot of fun with my daughter but not something I would buy if I were looking for a true makeup set for normal wear. ... show more

I will say this kit has just about everything covered in terms of doing your makeup. It's not high quality make-up by any means, but if you have a child that wants to practice this is perfect. - The tube of concealer works well to cover but smells kind of like lotion. - The liquid eyeliner doesn't want to come off, like ever. lol - The lip glosses are the most pigmented ones I have ever seen - seriously - and it doesn't smudge when you eat or drink. Genuinely surprised considering I wear some high dollar lipstick and can't get the same results. They have a fruity fragrance to them, too. - I didn't use the mascara because I am pretty allergic to mascaras and didn't want to risk it. - The lipstick palette isn't the greatest, but again, it allows a beginner to try out mixing and matching - There are 2 palettes of eyeshadow, one shimmery and one matte. They do not stay on long at all, but they blend well if you're trying to learn how to blend. - I didn't try the glitter liners because they would be too close to my eyes and they were much thicker than the black eyeliner. - The case is actually really nicely made. All of the other items were okay. For what you get, I would highly recommend this to a pre-teen for practicing. This is a nice little kit for children. It’s obviously not the best quality but for the price it is pretty worth it. It is a great gift or present to give to other people and although it’s not that big, I believe that the case it comes in. It’s a great overall set. There’s many different products in it that I believe can just be a full face by itself ... show more

Breaking things down! Mascara-Not a fan of these wants, they have a tendency to clump with pour coverage. This one us pretty good though! Pre-curl is necessary, but it does a nice job of accentuating for a natural look. Eyeshadow- The star! Once I got the hang of picking the shadow up it went on thick and bold. No patchiness, just very subtle until you get the hang of it. Liquid lip stick- I tried, it failed. I won't use again. The bad kind of sticky. My lips would stick and it was painful pulling them apart even 30 minutes later. Awful, be warned. Contouring creams- Not awful, not amazing. Good for touches through day. Big bonus for the amount of shades available so you can blend for what you need. The case- Adorbs! Love it, may not use it for makeup, but I will be using! Overall, solid set! ... show more
