I bought this in a pinch because I found out the actual daybed I ordered was coming several days later than I needed it to. My only concern was that it would be kind of flimsy especially for the money but when it arrived this mothing and after about 45 minutes to assemble I have to say I'm very impressed and and since it folds in half it will be easy to store. I had planned on using itemporarily before either donating it or giving it away but I think this is worthy of Holding on 24 future use. I'm 6 foot 2 and 200 pounds. This frame is very sturdy and it went together quickly. I'd recommend using a 1/2" rachot wrench though instead of the tool they sent. It just made it easier. If you don't have one, just be patient. It was a snap with 2 people. 1 person might get mildly frustrated. Still easy to assemble. I was impressed on how well all pieces, including the nuts and bolts, were labeled and packaged. My only design flaw is that it might be hard to keep the mattress from staying centered on the frame, since the frame had no sides on it hold the mattress on, but I knew this from previous reviews. ... show more

It’s sturdy and stable, which is more than I expected for the price point. It doesn’t squeak at all! My bamboo memory foam mattress is fully, and comfortably, supported without a box is frame. I’m on the taller side, so the height is perfect. It was fairly easy and quick to assemble by myself, but I would recommend having help if it’s available. All in all it’s a great frame, that more than surpasses it’s price point. Bought this to double as a storage space. You will not be able to use a box spring with this frame without launching yourself on the bed. The frame doesn't need a box spring and is the perfect size for me to get on and off (I'm 5'4") I built the frame alone and it wasn't too bad. We bought a brand new bed with new box springs and a nice foam mattress Within days, the box springs started creaking and squeaking with every single movement in bed. Enough to wake up my wife whenever I turned over. Measured the dimensions of the new bed and bought this frame. It fit perfectly inside the wooden frame, and completely replaced the slats and the box springs. Now our bed is silent and completely sturdy. This frame went together in about 25 minutes and it did it alone. Incredibly strong and completely silent for any movements.
