It was DARK pink right out of the package. I decided to keep it because I thought I might be able to make it work…FLW…it’s still pink and my colors are burgundy for Christmas but I do like it. It looks great on the king bed in the master and matches my picture great, but it’s still pink! Ok, first thing I did was wash it in cold water and dry it on low and there was red dots everywhere. This dark pink shows every thread, fuzzy and gray hair so I make it daily and then pick it. My house isn’t that dusty either. It’s just me, an 80 y/o woman, and an old chihuahua. WE DO NOT STIR UP THE DUST! After washing I took it to the bed and what! The new bedspread had touch faded on my favorite white sheets! I jerked everything off the bed and washed my favorite sheets! PTL, it all came out! But bunches of dark pink dots were everywhere. Every day I have to pick and brush now. AND it’s still pink! It’s mine but I may put it on the other king size bed later just to not have to pick and brush it, no one sleeps in there! ... show more

This throw is TOTALLY REVERSIBLE!! Who knew? It has all-over quilting that may be done with a heat or pressure method, but not thread. The quilting design has a sheen, it almost looks white in some light. But it’s not shiny or garish. I like it! NOTE: my full-size bed has a deep dish pillow-top mattress. All full bedspreads are too short and too narrow! I bought this beautiful purple bedspread in Queen size so that I can pull it up over my pillows and then tuck the bedspread in beneath them, and there’s still enough fabric left over to tuck it between the footboard and mattress. Also, when it’s pulled down on one side to the divide between the mattress and the boxspring, its the same length on the other side, YAY, I’m keeping it! ... show more
