I recently started using ALIKA's hair product suite, which includes shampoo, conditioner, and two serums. Although I am still evaluating the long-term results, from the first applications I have noticed that my hair feels incredibly soft and well-cared for. What has impressed me the most so far is the delicious aroma these products leave behind. It's a pleasure to use them every time. I am eager to see the continued benefits and effects on hair growth. I've used this set twice now and I'll share my observations so far as twice is not enough to tell if if will help with my thinning hair. The shampoo and conditioner are both what I consider fairly typical consistency. Neither are too watery or too thick, but the conditioner is slightly thinner than what I typically get with most conditioners. Still not watery though. The shampoo did lather well but I did experience some tingling on my scalp both uses. It wasn't bad but I'm keeping a close eye on it as I have had negative reactions to other shampoos that were for thinning hair and that also made my scalp tingle. Note that I do have sensitive skin so it may just be a me issue. My hair felt clean after shampooing and not dry after conditioning but I didn't really notice any difference from any other shampoo and conditioner sets in that regard. I applied the serum then blow dried my hair. It was nice and shiny but still had a lot of frizz. Frizz is a huge problem for me and I didn't notice a clear difference from any of the other countless serums I have. My hair was soft though and did not look oily. I'll update with results after I've finished the set. I know it takes time for products to work and I choose to remain optimistic although my first impression is that this may not be the greatest value for the claims made in the description. ... show more

I ordered this set of hair products to help keep strong hair. Overall, the shampoo, conditioner, and serem all smell about the same and are relatively mild. I would say they do lean on the sweet side a little bit which is different from the scent of shampoos I would normally use. After using the shampoo, my hair felt quite stripped of oils so I feel like the shampoo was quite effective. The conditioner helped bring some feeling back to my hair without making it super oily. Lastly, the serem was easy to use and apply and spread through my hair. The bottle for the serem is also a bit unique from normal droppers. Instead of squeezing and then bringing up the serem, you just push the button a few times which fills the dropper. I will have to report back about prolonged use! ... show more

This shampoo seems very expensive to me, but my wife says it is not. Amazon sells it for a better price than elsewhere too. I don't loose much hair. For me, this is just another shampoo and conditioner. It smells great and leaves my hair silky smooth. My wife on the other hand, wants and needs a product like this. She beats up her hair more than me. Coloring, blow drying, curling, etc. The hair in the shower drain has been acknowledged as hers. She is using this set daily and loving it. Anyway, per the wife... her hair already feels stronger and she is seeing less shedding in the shower. She said she will order this again (with my credit card). If you research this brand, the 40 day supply comes with two bottles of serum. That's what we got. One shampoo, one conditioner and two bottles of serum. ... show more

Smells great and lathered pretty well. The washed hair felt clean and soft afterwards. Does it help for hair growth? Just started using it so the jury is still out but will update the review as necessary. The only significant drawback to this product I can see is the cost. Unless there are gold flakes in the shampoo or it really does work well enough to make your go from Patrick Stewart to Cousin It, not quite sure if the current price point is justified. This is a very high quality four piece set that includes shampoo, conditioner and two serums. I like the consistency of the shampoo and how it suds up but doesn't strip or dry out my hair. It is very gentle and smells amazing. It is also safe to use on different hair types. The conditioner is ultra moisturizing and really gives my hair more slip and manageability. The serum is quite thick and really blends well into my scalp without feeling greasy. It comes in a convenient bottle with a dropper for easily applying to your scalp.This is advertised for hair growth and preventing hair fall. I finally got the product, but I was considering canceling my order when I noticed that the shampoo contained sulfates. The Good: This website provides the complete ingredients label for all products, which is great for people like me with chemical sensitivities. The not-so-good: I usually avoid sulfates in my shampoos because they tend to dry out my hair, but I'll give this product a fair try. The complete set of shampoo, conditioner, and two bottles of serum seems a bit expensive, but it might be worth it if they really work for you.
