  • PRETTY FUN. Not perfect, but fun.
i don't know why it's so hard to make an aliens game, many have tried and really none have succeeded much. this game truly is more of a 4.5 stars out of 5, but considering i can't give it that score i rounded up. it's essentially very much a gears of war game, only with aliens. more of a co-op game than a single player, but the single player is alright, they pair you with bishop-type cyborgs. for whatever reason the sound is REAL quiet on this game, so i have to turn up my tv to 45 to hear it, compared to 20 for the other games. fun game though, wouldn't spend much more than 20 dollars on it though, the DLC is cool too ... show more

  • Plays well in honoring the Alien Franchise
The game levels and missions are great the weapons sounds just like the movie Aliens the Zeno morphs are well animated only problems there’s really no boss battles but that’s ok co op play is great solo play with the bots is ok on easy difficulty but they can be very stupid at times and no cut scenes and there’s no facial expression on characters in conversational mode and can be A little glitchy at times and sometimes crashes ... show more

  • Fun
This game is great for those who enjoy shooting games. Not much story but good first person shooting with good graphics.

  • A little disappointed. Was really looking forward to this game.
If you are expecting anything like Alien: Isolation, its not like that. I have only played the first level, and can tell this is totally different. This is just a shoot them up game. Aliens come and come and you shoot shoot shoot. Feels like I put a quarter in the arcade and just shooting aliens. There is no build up with a story. Usually in Alien material (movies and games), you build up a story and then eventually get to see aliens. Not here. You go right into shooting aliens. Seems to me like they are trying to compete with the Call of Duty games where you have multiple players playing with you (which I was looking forward to that, but its not the same). While you are shooting aliens everywhere, you do have a motion detector like the movie and other games, but while you are shooting SO MANY ALIENS your eyes are looking at what you are shooting, and you can't look at the motion detecter when aliens are coming behind you. TOO BUSY for you eyes to keep up with everything. Overall, just not what I was expecting and a little disappointed. Alien: Isolation was really good in my opinion, so I was expecting something like that in a way. ... show more

  • A ton of fun!
I really enjoy this title. It's very fun and rather challenging. Just beat the main campaign on Casual, which was still difficult. Good customization items for your character and your guns. I will say I have a PS4 pro and I can tell it pushes the hardware: it gets a tad loud during action heavy scenes and it did crash on me once. That being said, I haven't noticed anything other than those two things. Well done. I'd recommend it....👍 ... show more

  • ERROR ELITE
First time I've ever thrown a game in the trash. The download and installation constantly failed, but after a few attempts, it finally worked. Gameplay was awful, graphics, mechanics, sluggish movement. In a game where enemies are so fast, if you're attacked from behind, your point of aim is so slow, you can't successfully turn fast enough to shoot the alien. After finishing the first mission, I discovered the second mission was locked, saying, "campaign hasn't finished downloading yet." Never actually finished. Googled the problem, but this game has a almost non-existent player base, so there were no answers to the problem, aside from one suggesting to delete the game and re-install. About 30 minutes later, cause the game had such problems downloading, AGAIN... I was back in and had to start all over on my campaign, but the problem persisted. I grabbed the case, ejected the disc, not bothering to place the disc back in the case and promptly tossed both in the trash, where the game belongs. Spare yourself a headache and pass on this game. The creators were obviously inept at game design and released a bugged out game. I'll also be on the lookout for games made by Cold Iron, and be sure not to buy from them again. Only paid $14, so the old saying is true, you get what you pay for... ... show more
