  • Sound quality is very good
Size: Recital Grand Style: Piano Only
The keyboard has a realistic touch, I use this for practice with the headsets and have no trouble moving to a acoustic grand. Excellent choice for beginners and advanced students. It is primarily a piano although the organ is also good. Not a lot go bells and whistles which is nice.

  • Great electric keyboard for a great price!
I bought this to replace a "used to me 30 years ago" regular piano. I wanted something electric due to fluctuating humidity issues in our home and the ability to use headphones to practice when others in the house are sleeping. I researched many different electric keyboards and settled on this one. I couldn't be happier with this purchase! I also like the free lessons that come with it (although I haven't used them yet due to lack of time for those wishing to learn piano). The sound quality is great and I am pleased with how it feels much like a real piano with many other features. I love the layering of sound features that is available. I would recommend this to beginners and experienced piano players. It is much more easily portable than a regular piano. I have had this since September 2022 and have yet to try all of the features, but I intend to once life settles down a bit. Overall, a great purchase and well worth the money. The bench is study and the accessory pedal was well worth the extra money as well. ... show more

  • Alesis gives value for the your money
Size: Recital Grand Style: Piano Only
Very good design, decent quality! Love the headphones connection location being on the front left side. The Recital Grand, has 88 keys weighted graded hammered action, gives a feel very close to a piano keys. You can spend a lot more to purchase a little nicer unit, but this is perfect for a beginner to intermediate level. 👌 ... show more

  • I wish I could like it more, but...
Size: Prestige Artist Style: Piano Only
I searched the internet for quite a while, and thought I would try out this keyboard, and wanted to like it, but I have some issues with it. Be forewarned though, I've been playing violin for eleven and a half years, and my ears are super particular. The thing that I noticed first was the quality of the speakers. It's cool that it has 8 speakers or whatever, but what does it matter when some of them buzz even when the volume is off? I'll admit, most people wouldn't notice this, and even my friend who's been playing piano since he was 8 didn't notice this until I showed him. The quality was not bad, but I found that if you really clunked hard on the lowish mid-range keys, the speakers had trouble not fuzzing and distorting the sound. My family couldn't tell though, so you probably won't either unless you have super sensitive ears. But maybe I got unlucky with the speakers. Some people seem really happy with this product. I'd say this is perfect for beginners who want to spend $600, except for the fact that you could get something cheaper like the recital grand which is $100, and only has less polyphony (how many different sounds the speakers can play at the same time), no display, and less voices. Most people consider it the best keyboard under $500. Don't get me wrong, the piano sounds aren't bad, they don't beat a real piano's, but for how much it costs (with all the other features included) it's pretty good. But if you want them to sound better, use headphones or connect it to an amp. The key action was the second thing that bothered me. It's so loud. This is probably the most complained subject throughout the reviews. They feel pretty good, they're definitely weighted, but you can barely tell that they're graded. It is much harder to press the keys closer to the back, but that's a problem with most electronic keyboards. Another thing is that the keys feel so plasticky to me. Nothing like ivory, just straight up plastic. Now the voices. Most of them are fine, I personally enjoyed the poly-synth the most, but some of them, especially the vibraphone, are very distorted near the top and bottom of the keyboard. The upright piano had the least distortion and out-of-tune-ness (I don't know how else to say it) out of the piano sounds, but it still had problems at the very bottom. I contacted alesis support, but they were stupid and didn't answer both of my tickets for two weeks, and I returned this last minute, because I'd rather try something else. My verdict is that unless you are a beginner who wants to spend $600 on a keyboard, don't bother with this one. Do more research and get something else. ... show more

  • love it !
Size: Recital Grand Style: Piano Only
For the money, I am not aware of any digital piano that can compete with this guy. The Good : Reasonably good hammer action, usable voices (piano, EP, Sting and few more), dual layer voicing, light weight, 1/4" L+R outputs, USB, everything I will ever need. The Bad : No display screen, so you can't tell what instrument you are on (unless you memorize the 4 LED colors), can't tell if it's in transpose mode. This thing is like the old Casio, when they pack in lots of features and offer them at fair price. (Casio is more expensive now cos they think they are next to Roland and Yamaha) It also has good built quality, I gig with it a few times and it's holding up well. I've never used it with it's on-board speakers solely so I couldn't comment on them. ... show more

  • Worth every your money
Size: Prestige Artist Style: Piano Only
The media could not be loaded. The deliver was late. But the piano is super. We bought a artist brand with grand piano option. The sound and graded hammer action keys are exactly like the acoustic piece. So it is so inviting to sit aside listening while almost falling in sleep. I believe add layer and split function makes more fun to practice. Just say worth to buy. ... show more

  • Great lower end price keyboard for at home.
Size: Recital Grand Style: Piano Only
Great digital keyboard for starters, got it for my wife as a Christmas present. Easy to figure out. The piano options don't sound cheap. Keys feel great like they're hammer driven. Can't really find a negative for the price range. Very happy with it! (Note: I do actually play the piano myself) I'd consider buying a different sustain peddle but it did come with one. ... show more
