First off let me just say: ITS HEAVY! I think the UPS driver said it was 75 pounds. Honestly I was expecting something lighter and I am extremely glad it was not as light as I expected. Assembly took one and a half to two hours. All the parts were there along with a few spares. The little wrench that came with it was a nice surprise too! The directions made sense and were easy to follow and assembly was straight forward. Now that I've been sleeping on it for a while I can say it's stable; I was concerned with the length of the legs but turns out it's a non starter. There is a little sway from head to foot but it's negligible. Overall I will say it's a very stable platform for a mattress. The one dislike I have is the mattress likes to travel when getting on or off the bed, but the thought of having one of those dog ears I saw on some of the frames stabbing me in the back of my thighs while getting on or off turned me away from them. So, it's a personal thing: a sliding mattress or getting poked by one of those dog ears. I have already recommended this frame to other people. ... show more

I am a big and tall man tbh I did not really believe it would hold up but to my surprise it is very very sturdy very good quality material and plenty of support no more weak annoying box springs and it has alot of clearance underneath now I have stored alot of my personal belongings and have even made more room In my bedroom I highly recommend trying it out for your self I assembled it on my own would have been alot easier with another person but it is not impossible to put it together on your own instructions are very simple and everything is labeled and it came with the tools needed to assemble it very happy with it. ... show more

    • VERY sturdy!
I bought this in a pinch because I found out the actual daybed I ordered was coming several days later than I needed it to. My only concern was that it would be kind of flimsy especially for the money but when it arrived this mothing and after about 45 minutes to assemble I have to say I'm very impressed and and since it folds in half it will be easy to store. I had planned on using itemporarily before either donating it or giving it away but I think this is worthy of Holding on 24 future use. I'm 6 foot 2 and 200 pounds. I can lay on it sit on it and even flop around onwith no concerns that it's going to bend or collapse. This was a very good buy especially for the money. ... show more

This frame is very sturdy and it went together quickly. I'd recommend using a 1/2" rachot wrench though instead of the tool they sent. It just made it easier. If you don't have one, just be patient. It was a snap with 2 people. 1 person might get mildly frustrated. Still easy to assemble. I was impressed on how well all pieces, including the nuts and bolts, were labeled and packaged. My only design flaw is that it might be hard to keep the mattress from staying centered on the frame, since the frame had no sides on it hold the mattress on, but I knew this from previous reviews. ... show more
