My husband is short and stocky, a little less than me but not by much. My mattress and box spring? Are o l d. Like. I think they’re from the 80s old. The box spring is made with real wood and is HEAVY, and the mattress is a Queen and THICCC with a triple C. So it’s pushing a lot of weight — and my husband can still come in and, uh. WWE Smackdown, if you know what I mean. /This thing doesn’t even move/. It doesn’t creak, doesn’t shift, doesn’t budge, doesn’t sway, doesn’t strain, doesn’t warp, NOTHING. /She solid AF/. I’ve stood on this bed and felt as safe as an adult with subluxations joints ever feels standing on a bed; at least I didn’t feel scared the frame didn’t have me. tl;dr: more supportive than my own parents and more useful than my college degree. I measured my bed 5 times before ordering to make sure it would fit and it fit perfectly! Accurate description, quick delivery, and super simple to put together. I read another review that said throw out the little wrench it came with and I agree! I used the Allen wrench it came with and used a ratchet wrench. So much easier and faster! Overall, great product. I bought a queen bed frame but it was missing the wooden slats to hold the mattress. I could not find the slats in the size I needed so I resorted to this frame to fit inside the bed frame in place of the slats. I love this tall frame because I can store a LOT of stuff underneath it. One thing I forgot to account for was the height of the mattress going on top of it. Frame fit perfectly under a loft bed but with the mattress on top it was too tall. This was my mistake. We just took the loft frame off and now my son has a lot of open space for gaming. Also, the mattress is Not sliding off the frame but if yours does you can just add sticky frame grips to the frame. ... show more

    • Lightweight, yet strong and easy to assemble

The box comes well packed, very dense and it feels heavy. Once assembled, the bed frame is easy to move around and is quite strong and sturdy. Assembly is very easy, just one size bolt is used throughout. The side and center rails fold out at the hinged leg supports, and the end rails are more or less identical so after these two basics, the only thing left to do is insert the metal bed slats and you're ready to toss the mattress on and enjoy. We put a cheap mattress in a box up with this frame so it's probably imported to note this is not a daily used bed. The guests were comfortable, could not feel the frame through the mattress (which may be more of a testament to the mattress than the frame). The frame did not slide around on the hard floor and the memory foam mattress did not slide around on the frame. I would guess some of the sliding issues other people had was due to the type of mattress more than because of the frame as well. Good frame. Cannot beat the price point. Ignore my floor I'm remodeling, lol this is a Great frame! Very sturdy, & I was able to get rid of my old school wood & metal bed that weighed 150lbs. The only problem is the headboard I also bought off Amazon, cant fit up flush to the frame, im going to have to cut a wooden spacer to place in it. The bolts at the top stick out to far. But im not complaining. I also got rid of my original headboard that weighed 100lbs too. Really fast shipping, I recommend this especially if you have an old cumbersome heavy bed frame. I would much rather have this lightweight frame and you can also slide things underneath it if you want ... show more

I bought this because I have a 300-pound friend who cat sits while I’m away. My precious Bedframe broke a weld so I wanted one that could easily handle her tossing and turning.
