I think this camera is the best value for your money. I chose the Brave 7 over the previous versions (Brave 6, 5, 4, etc.) because it is already waterproof with additional case. Very easy to operate and picture quality is as good as the higher priced brand name action cameras.

The media could not be loaded. I've only had my Akaso Brave 7 for about a week, but so far, I like it. I'm using it on a gimbal, but I don't walk like a ninja! By itself, the internal stabilization is also good. At 4k, image quality is very good, but highlights do tend to blowout (many action cameras do). The new menus on the "anba" version were a surprise - they are more like a gopro and work well. The internal mic on this version is surprisingly good. You get many useful accessories, including mounts, a charger and 2 batteries. Battery life is quite good, too. My uploaded video was 4k, Amazon lowers resolution drastically, so don't judge IQ by it. ... show more

I do not sky-dive, scuba dive nor snow board. I ride motorcycles and Hike. The Askaso Brave 7 is perfect for my endeavors. For me, there is a learning curve yet not insurmountable nor terribly frustrating. I purchased 3-AKASO BRAVE 7 and 1-BRAVE 7e for comparison based on online videos. I plan to use them for biking, diving, fishing and other outdoor work. Compared to the GO PRO 10, the 2024 Brave 7 and 7e have great audio, image quality, cost, waterproofing, durability, features, extra battery, charger, remote controls and accessories! My packages included 1/4-20 stud for tripod mount. Audio is great and cost of replacement is tolerable if lost or damaged. The web site, menus and online manuals are great, organized, informative and easy to read. Well done AKASO. I do recommend this product and company and I will purchase the next model! I use this Brave 7 for Travel, Adventure, Fishing and Research. The camera is well built, it came with many accessories and the Price is a lot of cheaper than many others big brand. Why spent more money for others action camera, while Brave 7 does the same thing? And you can buy more accessories with super cheap price. Several years ago I was using a GoPro Hero3. Last year I started camping in my RV, visiting many Texas state parks.
