Very pleased, needed something to power some good speakers for my new wood shop to save space. I hooked it direct to my alexa device for the line in, bluetoothed iit to my phone and pad so I have many choices. Depending on your speakers, the sound is awesome and your not restricted by the volume. The SD reader is ok but you can't shuffle your play list so you need to do it from the app on your phone or pad. I like having Alexa on hand so you can also have her bluetooth to your device instead of the line in.     • Great sound and value.
It's a great receiver with two drawbacks: one, doesn't have a headphone outlet and two, doesn't have a speaker balance knob. Other than that, it's powerful and sounds clear with various mp3 players and a cd player. I actually prefer this little receiver to my old pricey, bulky old-style receiver.

Bluetooth is noisy I might have to return it. I want to know if this is my unit or typical of this product. Waiting for a response. I received a replacement today and it works fine, Bluetooth is quiet and worked works from about 20 feet away (the far corner of my garage). Awesome little amp. I even tried an SD card, it's ok too (no display of song titles). The radio reception does not pick up my 2 local stations that I like. ... show more

Reading some reviews I had mixed feelings about ordering this amp. After receiving it I would not hesitate to buy another one. I love this thing. It's clear, it's loud, and it has all the power I need. I wanted it hear/feel the thump of the beat without drowning out everything else.

Could my nearly 70-year-old, tinnitus-afflicted ears tell a difference between my beloved Harman/Kardon 730 receiver and this $40 Amazon 40wpc cheapy? So far, the answer is no. It even has a pretty decent tuner. And it does have BT, USB & microphone inputs. The H/K needs to go into the shop for like the fifth time and I've been to multiple repair shops. The last time in December. It's on its last legs. At this point nostalgia is the only reason I would get the H/K repaired. Time will tell.... ... show more

    • Works great just doesnt turn off
The media could not be loaded. I haven’t fully tested it but that’s irrelevant since it doesnt turn off. Not sure if it’s damaged or if its just not built to turn off but definitely a bummer that I have to return.
