Features

  • UNCOMPROMISED PHONO AMPLIFICATION AND EQUALIZATION - Precisely converts the turntable phono signal to line level, featuring an ultra high-accuracy frequency response to faithfully reproduce the original recording to the RIAA standard
  • SOPHISTICATED CIRCUIT DESIGN ENGINEERED WITH PREMIUM COMPONENTS - High accuracy components, low noise power supply, and low impedance output stage achieve greater RIAA specification, gain performance and lower distortion
  • VIVID STEREO SOUNDSTAGE - Utilizing individual left and right channel OP amps provide optimal channel separation and virtually no crosstalk during signal reproduction and amplification stages
  • LOW FREQUENCY RUMBLE FILTERING - This selectable high pass filter rolls off the low end frequencies below 20Hz. This slow gentle roll off is helpful to reduce subsonic resonant feedback and noise when listening at loud volumes

  • Amazing!
Exactly what I needed for my vintage Technics turntable! I was considering spending money on a new receiver due to the fact my Sony did not have a phono input. Upon a little research, I discovered that I only needed a phono preamp. This was just the ticket! The ease of hooking it up, solid construction and most importantly…..the great sound! Very pleased with my purchase. 😎👍🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶 ... show more

  • Perfect--Adds volume and clarity
This preamp works well with my Fluance RT 85 turntable (great turntable by the way). I have a phono input built into an Onkyo amp but the sound from the phono connection was soft and lame even at higher volumes. Everything else with the amp was good so I didn't want to return it (the connection worked but it seemed underpowered). I talked to Fluance and they suggested that I try this preamp to see if that solved the problem (excellent customer service btw). I connected this to the CD input (any input other than phono would work) and the sound now is perfect--good volume and clarity. One thing to pass along--I did not need a ground from the pre-amp to the amplifier (no hum without that ground). The turntable is grounded to the preamp. ... show more

  • Fluance RT 85 finally sounds PERFECT!
I had the Fosi audio tube phono amp and have been fighting with it for a long time. Nothing against the Fosi, maybe just not compatible with the Fluance tt. But I was always experiencing lots of rumble, hiss, etc. and in excessive amounts. Tried everything and with the great reviews of the Fosi just thought possibly I had a bad turntable or something. Grounding was perfect, etc. Still SOOOOOO much rumble .. and my turntable is not close to my speakers. Finally decided to try the Fluance phono preamp and the difference is unreal! Absolutely amazing sound! Using two Sonos play 5's with sub... ... show more

  • So far so good
I picked this brand because I had just purchased a used Fluance turntable, so you'd expect their own preamp to work great. Also picked this one because it looks like a little wooden box instead of another out-of-place piece of tech. When I started using it though, there was a problem. Not sure what was wrong with that first one, but there were loud pops that sounded like static discharges (even though I do have ground wires from the TT to the preamp and on to my amp). When that happened it would lose the left channel, and I would have to reconnect the power cable to get both channels to work again. Listen to 1-2-3 songs, LOUD pop, left channel out, reconnect the power (pull it out, put it back in again), works again. This would happen once per side, every other record. As I was entering the return, they offered to send a replacement immediately and didn't even charge for the shipping. Given how highly rated the brand is, I'm happy to give them the benefit of the doubt. This kind of customer service means a lot to me, so I decided to give them a second chance. So far so good, it is working without a glitch. Not 5 stars because of the bad first one, but I do think they stand by their product so I'd definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Fantastic phono preamp !!
I needed something in a pinch that was affordable so I took a chance on this one. Much to my surprise it holds its own and surpasses other preamps I have had that cost 3 to 4 times as much. In my opinion any review that says it distorts lead vocals either has an agenda or has gear problems. Oh... did I mention Im a mastering engineer so my ears are definitely not broken ;) ... show more

  • Perfect Solution
We have updated our Stereo receiver to complement our New smart TV. Unbeknownst to me the receiver had no phono jack for my vantage turntable. The PreAmp was the “Perfect Solution” to my issue. It works great and sounds Awesome. YAY!!!

  • Setup is easy
Once I got the cables, setup was easy. I have a Fluance RT 85N going to the Fluance PA10, and then to my Sonos ERA 100. Now I can hear my records throughout my house across all my Sonos Speakers. This is a new setup so my equipment has not broken in yet. So I expect my sounds will get warmer as time goes by. ... show more
