I've had an old black curtain in storage for some time. Finally found a way to use it. I have faux wooden blinds in my livingroom and light filters through the edges and shines on my tv set, making it difficult to see at times. So, I got this adjustable rod. It was so easy to use - just slide it through the hem of the curtain (or material), set it on the edge of the window, then adjust the length til there is resistance to push in and hold up the curtain. This product is just okay if you have to extend it as far as it goes. It's pretty flimsy in the middle and bends in the center. I also found myself needing to glue one half of the rod to the other because that would come apart pretty easily as well. If you don't have to extend it much AND have a small frame to actually use the tension of it, I'm sure it would work perfectly! ... show more
