I have been a massage therapist and aromatherapist for 30 years. I have tried many diffusers, vaporizers, you name it. This is the ONLY one I have ever been happy with and I love it! No sputtering, no mess. It scents the space without coughing up all of your essence too quickly and then petering out. This gives a nice, consistent amount of aroma steadily no matter how long it stays on. Leave it on as long as you want and you want run out and you won't lose scent. There is really no clean up and it makes your essential oils last longer than anything else ever could. I filled mine up and had it running morning, day, evening and through the night by my bed. It is USB charged and the charge lasts a long time so you can move it around. To leave it on, you can just leave it plugged in. I got this to replace my original diffuser that wouldn't work reliably. This is really pretty so I didn't have to hide it and so far it works really well. For this price I expect to get a nice long summer of pleasant smelling air! I love that it is recordable! No more batteries!

I can't say enough about this handy little item. I mix my own scents and love this. I have purchased 3 of these now, 2 for myself and 1 for a gift. It is super easy to use, and it takes up very little space. It is about the size of a standard soda can. I like the fact I can leave it plugged in after the first charge and not worry about charging it. It easily covers 500 SF or so. I plan on buying a few more to make sure my whole house is covered when I use them, so I don't have to move them around. Make sure you buy the extra USB wall plug, it does not come with one. They look nice, and I like the lights off or on depending on my mood. Most of the time I let is just cycle through all the colors. I am certainly getting one of these for my car too. The scent can be set to release in S/M/L does, but it does not run continuously. It runs for so many seconds then pauses and then runs again. I would not fill up the large scent jar because it will take a long time to use it up. I filled mine a quarter full so I can change my scents more often. ... show more

I purchased the Scenta Shine because it is waterless and uses a rechargeable battery thus making it a portable option; plus it looks nice. My intended use will be outside to repel mosquitos and spiders while we are utilizing our patio space. The essential oil jar is a nice heavy weighted glass jar. I appreciate having the extra oil tube's in case one becomes unusable. The oil dropper was broken when the defuser was unboxed;however not an issue for me as I have several droppers of my own. ... show more

Soo happy with my purchase I bought another (will probably buy 1 more and put it in my car)! Its a waterless diffuser so you dont have to worry about molding. Ive charged it 1 time 3 weeks ago and havent charged it since. It runs in short cycles (5-8 sec. Options 1-3 hrs), not continuous like others. Also has led lights theyโ€™re not bright, more like a night light. Sound is pretty quiet too. Buy 1 you wonโ€™t regret it ... show more

I bought this diffuser a few days ago, and ran it almost continuously on high for four days. The only time it wasn't on was when it was charging. At first the aroma was strong, then it faded over time, with less vapor coming out of the unit. I am using sandalwood essential oils that are manufactured for diffusers. On the fourth day, I picked it up to charge it, and the glass jar was covered with oil. I was surprised and annoyed. Luckily, it was on a coaster, so it didn't ruin the table. Make sure to put this on a coaster or small plate/dish, because it can leak. When it leaks, it's well past time to clean the unit. The manual says to do this every three months. More like every three days, depending on the oil you use. This unit works by vaporizing the essential oil and the pressure pushes the vapor through a small opening. The vapor does not come out of the tube. The tube vaporizes the oil. You can see this when it runs. I think it uses ultrasound to both vaporize and pressurize the oil. When the opening is clogged and less vapor comes through, the pressure forces the vapor through the glass jar's threads and it eventually becomes a liquid that makes it appear as though the unit is leaking. Depending on the oil you use, you may have to clean this thing more frequently. Just dump the oil in a container for later use and follow their cleaning instructions. When it's clean, put the oil you dumped into the container back into the reservoir. To avoid "leaking", just be proactive. When the unit produces noticeably less vapor, it's time to clean it. Overall, this machine is pretty cool. I don't think the leakage is a design flaw. After all, if it were completely air tight, the unit could explode instead of leak. Which would you prefer? I prefer the latter. It's more that the manual is incorrect. You'll probably need to clean this more than once in three months. It depends on the essential oil you use. Also, put this thing on a coaster, tray, or dish to prevent any oil from damaging your table or countertop. Keep in mind, I just got this thing. I have no idea how long it will last. But it seems to be pretty solid. This company should manufacture its own essential oils that are fully compatible with the unit. They all differ in viscosity and other properties. ... show more
