App is easy to use and quick, but not necessary because HomeKit is integrated into iPhone and works great too (assuming you have HomePod/TV). Can have a widget and even automations for air quality, presence detection, etc. Levels 4 and 5 filter air pretty quickly for a small room but are clearly audible. Equivalent to a desk fan on. The unit is compact, feels very solid, filters fit snugly to prevent air leaks around them. I had never used Thread before and our HomePod Mini was in my wife’s name. Once I figured out how to add myself to her HomePod (using her iPhone), everything went very quickly and easily. The unit shows up in Apple Home and the Sleekpoint app for controlling all its features works great. I’ve only had mine for day, but I bought it because my wife’s daughter bought some of them a couple of months ago and her house always seems clean and fresh with no odors. When I realized that smart homes were more than just lightbulbs and that I could use the technology to get better insights into my home’s air quality, many of the blogs I was reading mentioned Airversa’s Purelle. Living in New York City, it didn’t surprise me that an air purifier could bring huge benefits to my home. What surprised me was that I’d never been concerned about it before. The Airversa Purelle’s thread-enabled features and Apple Home compatibility were all it took to give this device a try. To this day, I wish I’d recorded our family’s reactions on the day we received and set up the air purifier. The setup was a breeze — <i> pun intended </i>. Over the following days, my spouse and I couldn’t get over how much thinner and lighter the air we were breathing felt. Within a month, we had a second Airversa Purelle set up at home. While I can vouch that setup is as simple as setting it and forgetting it, I don’t think we will ever forget how vastly improved our indoor air felt from that day forward. Fast forward to the summer of 2023, when Canadian wildfires brought visibly hazy skies and a hazardous AQI of over 340 to New York City, we sat indoors watching local news programs while our two Purelle devices worked tirelessly in auto mode, never one struggling to keep our indoor AQI low. This unplanned use case was a true testament to the unseen value air purifiers add to the quality of the air we breathe in our homes, day or night. As the sun set while the city’s AQI was still rising; two of our neighbors and my close friend had asked to come hang out at our place for the evening as the smell of wildfire in their homes was causing them concern and discomfort. I’ve now owned these devices for well over a year, always running in “auto” mode, and despite all of their hard work, my filters still have over 30% left in them before I need to switch them out.
