Hope is my new pup. She’s about a year old and came from a shelter. She is chipped. However, I got this collar because I loved the extra layer of protection with not only the air tag, instant feedback to where she was, but also the QR code that could be scanned and connect to me directly if someone was able to grab her. The other day for the first time she ran out and kept running. I quickly put on my shoes and grabbed her harness and leash to go after her. A neighbor heard me calling for her and started helping me look for her. It took me a minute to remember that she had an air tag and I could see exactly where she was! I was able to see that she ended up already back at home while I was walking further away trying to find her! I am now going to buy this collar for my children’s dogs so that they will have the same feeling of knowing they will be reunited as soon as possible when/if they run off. The collar appears durable and I scanned the QR code myself to see how it works. As the scanner I immediately got the option to just call. I love the way the leash fits around there neck with more space if needed. Super easy to put air tag in the compartment and even came with extra screws. I wanted a smaller sized collar for my two poodle mix dogs that would hold an Air Tag. I saw many good options but the QR code is what sold me. The collars were easy to add the Air Tag to, and then the QR code was also simple to set up. I like that I could add notes to the landing page and I added in their county rabies ID numbers and there is a place for their picture. I put the old collars with all the tags in the drawer and now my dogs can drink water without their metal tags clinking on the bowl. The Air Tags are great peace of mind for pet owners if you ever worry about your dogs somehow getting out, and this collar does exactly what I was looking for. Love this collar except after 2 months 3 of the 4 screws that hold the air tag in fell out and the last one just plain broke. I guess maybe I should’ve checked the tightness but I assumed it was good to go once I installed the screws. Maybe a little lock tight on the screws.
