I've been avoiding buying an airbrush simply because I have no outdoor space for a large and loud compressor, everything I've researched said that you need a decent compressor to avoid speckling and problems with painting small models, but this thing has been amazing. It's quiet, but I'd recommend setting it on something soft to avoid rattling because it is so light, the airbrush itself works fine, especially for a beginner, and for the price it's pretty great.     • Worst brush I’ve ever had

I’ve used air brushes off and on for my hobbying, but this is by far the worst one. Each time I’ve used it, I would deep clean before and after each use, and yet every single time if gone to use it, it would struggle to push out any of the paint I’ve already thoroughly thinned down to a water consistency, adjust the needle…nothing. I have to keep pulling the needle back and releasing it forward for little spurts. Will not be buying this brand again and will be telling everyone to do the same. You definitely get what you pay for for this kit. I should have payed attention to a lot of the other reviews. But this has been a problem since I bought this last year, but today was my last straw with this dumpster fire of an air brush. ... show more

From my research I assumed this would be a starter kit to see if I would get into airbrushing as part of my miniature painting toolkit. But I would make the distinction it’s a “starter kit” not a “beginner’s kit” as there was only the most basic of instruction on how to use. Descriptions on how to manipulate the physical parts and how to clean, but nothing about non-intuitive aspects like proper paint dilution, etc. I’ve never gotten especially good results out of it, but it’s possibly on me and not the machine. I feel like the kit is pretty well outfitted— everything I think I needed came in the set— but instruction is minimal and even basic use involved a lot of trial and error. Using forums as a resource I was able to troubleshoot most things, but I still don’t trust it for nicer projects that would necessitate consistent flow. Frankly I haven’t used this as much as I’d have liked to to get a knowledgeable review, but I just don’t find myself going back to it often, so that’s it’s own kind of review. ... show more
