Description

The AIRAID Cold Air Dam (CAD) Air Intake is engineered to give your engine larger amounts of cooler air to produce more horsepower and torque. The intake system retains the original location of the air filter but delivers a big boost with the addition of a huge open-element air inlet protected by Cold Air Dam panels that help to provide a steady, free-flowing supply of cooler outside air into your engine. The panels mount in the factory air box location and utilize any factory cold air inlet ducts that are present, while adding additional cold air passages to the filter. The panels also keep the filter isolated from the hot engine compartment air by sealing to the underside of the hood via blade-style weather stripping. This CAD system utilizes a replacement low-restriction intake tube. The 360-degree conical AIRAID premium air filter is washable and reusable, less restrictive than traditional paper, and assures superior filtration. The AIRAID Cold Air Dam Air Intake is easy to install with common hand tools. Some AIRAID air intakes are not legal for sale or use in California and other states adopting California emission standards, while others are 50 state legal. • Easy Install & Great Quality
Installation was easy and instructions were clear. The only thing I had to do that wasn't in the instructions was loosen the two bolts to move the coolant/power steering reservoirs to get the filter in place since I couldn't get it past the power steering reservoir. Looks great in place and sounds awesome. ... show more

This air filter is awesome! I love and I can definitely feel and hear the difference of power gain on my 2007 Dodge Charger ST8. My favorite part and why I picked this over a K&N is simply the hood scoop attachment, that's pure genius and makes my hood scope a true air intake! Good job Airaid. Assembly was easy and self explanatory, only down fall was that I had to drill out a hole on the plastic for the sensor. It wasn't a big deal for me since I have a drill and bits, but honestly c'mon Airaid for the price I paid and all the engineering you put into this product you could of at least designed a sensor port, and not expect the user to DIY it. ... show more

Style: Red Oiled Synthaflow
No complaints expect one but I'll get to that very easy to install huge filter hemis need that air sounds great and u feel the difference,. Now the scoop great idea and design I have a 180 tstat installed it doesn't take away from cooling the motor, now for the complaint not having anything to do with the intakes performance but if u have a tower brace or are planing on getting out the scoops in the way I manage to fit the mopar strut tower in there but what happens is when u push the gas the motor moves and the scoop hits the tower slightly though so it isn't to bad but great intake ... show more
