I've never used or had a clamp meter, so this one is taking some getting use to. As another reviewer pointed out, the directions are so basic, they are not a huge help. The clamp part has me still a little confused. But So far it does seem to work well. Took some known measurements and so far it is pretty accurate. It is a well made meter, good quality of the price. Working on as much equipment as I do, this fits a much needed niche. When having to take a measurement at a certain location but the controls are on the opposite side of the equipment this is a life saver. Got this to test an outlet that kept surging. The device's battery compartment had some loose parts and took a bit to fix that and push in the batteries. This device has a lot of features, but that can get a little confusing for the weekend DYI guy. The instructions are very basic and not much help. The bluetooth feature, is a nice addition, but I would rather this to be rechargeable than Bluetooth.
