I purchased it and I love the quality and look of the hoop. It is made by nice metal. The height is adjustable and my kid loves it as well. A nice feature is I can move it around since it has 2 wheels in the front base. it is very sturdy after I place 3 bags of sands on the base. The installation is straight forward.     • Not bad for the price, but has a couple issues

I was able to put this goal together by myself, but it would have been easier with a second pair of hands for sure. It took me most of the day to build it but I was making sure to take my time and get it right. I was able to follow the instructions and didn't have any problem putting it together as far as understanding the instructions. Proper organization before you start will make it easier. I did have an issue with one of the poles having been bent and would not slide into the next pole. I had to hammer it back into shape to get it to go in. Overall it's been a good basketball hoop for the driveway... Now for my thoughts on what I would like to see to make it even better. I wish the base was a little bigger. I feel the base has a smaller footprint than required to make it sturdy and less prone to falling over. The footprint isn't wide enough and doesn't allow for enough volume of water or sand to weight it down. You'll want some ground anchors to strap this thing to the ground. Mine blew over in the wind and face planted on the driveway bending the rim. Which brings me to my next issue. A replacement rim is available but they do not seem to keep stock of these. Ordering one will have a wait time of over a month and the hole pattern used for the mounting doesn't appear to be a standard pattern where you can just order any other rim that has a "universal hole pattern". All the ones I've looked at the measurements are just a little off. I've ordered a replacement rim today 12/30 and says expected delivery mid February. Will update this review with the result of that experience. Update 1/8/24 - Aimking reached out after my review and offered to send me a new rim free of charge. I have the new rim and verified it is the correct one to fit this unit. Very pleased with the after sale support! Adding another star to my review. ... show more

This hoop is perfect and would be a great starting goal for kids. Looks great and functions perfectly! Can easily change height. When the base is filled with water, it is very heavy and safe and will not fall over easily. This basketball hoop is of very high quality. Highly recommended

The media could not be loaded. We bought this basketball hoop for our son’s birthday. And we have just assembled it. It was very easy to assemble, the instructions are very clear. You just need to follow the instructions properly, as there are holes that need to align correctly with the bolts. It’s a bit tricky. You need to read the instructions before assembling. It’s quick to assemble. The structure is stable, but we still added a few sandbags for extra stability, just in case. It’s great that the height is adjustable. You can raise it higher or lower. Purchased basketball hoop 14 months ago. Product did what it was supposed to, and I would have rated it okay with good value. The hoop entertained my 10-year-old for a year. 1 month, after the 1-year anniversary, the backboard stopped being shatterproof. The backboard material is low grade, became brittle outdoors. The manufacturer may stand by the product for 365 days but any days after you are on your own. I now have a heavy metal paper weight I have to figure out how to dispose of. They offered me a discount to rebuy the product, which isn't much of a concession. I purchased the product with the expectation that it would last longer than 1 year, and I am not interested in paying $120 every year when it breaks. My recommendation is ... pay the higher price and purchase a higher quality product that will last your kids childhood. This is fine until it's not, which will be 395 days from now. ... show more
