Works great with our 2024 Prius Prime (plug in hybrid). Reduces charging time from 12 hours with the 110 volt charging cable that comes with the car, to less then a few hours. Easy to install once I had a 220 line installed in the garage. Charging cable is plenty long enough to reach charging port on the car. Good build quality and heavy duty charging cable. We have a Chevy Bolt and a Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid Plug-In. So we already have a GrizzlE car charger and an Emporia charger, which is hard wired. The GrizzlE car charger broke! No power when plugged in! I didn't quite "panic", but I ordered this one out of prudence due to the very affordable price. I'm going to start with the cons: CONS: The power cord is WAY short! And it has the power cord on one end and the charging cord on the other end. not ideal for weather resistance and for mounting in a good place. I wanted to mount it on the (outside) wall where the GrizzlE is, but that would be almost impossible since the outlet is only about 18 inches off the ground. the only thing I actually could do is get or make some kind of dryer extension cord for it. I sure don't want to take it apart and risk voiding the warranty! And then, there are the warnings about putting it in direct sunlight or letting it get rained on heavily (I can't remember the exact wording.) That doesn't exactly inspire confidence. BOTH the Emporia (GREAT charger!) and the GrizzlE have been completely out in the sun and rain the whole time! It won't go above 32 amps. This is not much of a con for me. The outlet for the GrizzlE only has 10 gauge wire going to it from the panel about 50 feet away, so if you listen to all the electricians, even though that's good for a 40 amp circuit breaker, 80% is 32 amps, which is EXACTLY what this thing does! (The Emporia, on the other hand, is hard wired, thanks to a Chevy offer, and can do the full 50 amps.) PROS: Just about everything else! Starting with the price!! So far, I've only charged the Bolt once, to make sure it works and I had it set it for 32 amps. I followed the instructions, plugged it in, and it worked immediately! It's as portable as it can be with a big, thick 25 foot cable (that you actually need, of course.) It has a very nice carrying bag! It displays the voltage, the charging current, the (its) temperature, and a running total of the kwh it has sent to the car! It's solidly and well built, and the part with the electronics is very compact. It has a plastic holder that you mount on the wall and a plastic holder for the cord that you can mount on the wall (somewhere else if you want to) and hardware is included. Everything you actually need for a very low price! So, the Emporia does the Chevy Bolt, which has a relatively huge 65 amp/hour battery and this one, even though it's not mounted yet, will charge the Ioniq, which only has an 8.9 kwh battery and refuses to charge any faster than 16 amps in the first place. And if I can figure out how to fix the GrizzlE (when I have some serious time on my hands), this one will make a great portable spare charger!! I'm happy with it unless it breaks right away or something (which will cause me to update this.) ... show more

Our utility company will reimburse up to $200 on EV chargers. So I am trying to find something close to this range, but finding a good one at this range can be difficult...most are 16A or poorly reviewed 32A models. This Aimiler charger has great reviews and I have used it for a month, it charged up my car with no problems. I hope the engaging/disengaging mechanism for pulling in and out of the charging port can work better, but the core functionality is solid and the cord is long. The app worked fine, nothing fancy, but allowed you to set current level, charging schedule and see energy usage. For this price, this is a great EV charger. ... show more

I️ came from an expensive charger that finally broke on me after 7 yrs. This charger is a perfect replacement and is more than half the price and is almost perfect. I️ like to delay or charge only between 9p and 3:39p low rate from power company. The app does not save the settings. Can Aimiler please modify the app to save the last selected charging mode pls? I️ am tired of changing it every single day or wait til 9p and plug in, which I️ have forgotten and wife’s ev is not charged the next day. Please a simplw save button would make this 10 product 10 stars even. Thank you. ... show more

For our new PHEV, we were looking for a home level2 charger. Even as a first time users, we find thus very easy to use and get running. The charging speed is great. It comes with a companion app which is very useful to see electricity usage history. The whole package contains a big and durable bag, wall mount kit, actual charger (charger plug that goes into your car plug have a protective cap which is awesome).
