It serves its purpose but something seems to be off with the remote. I have to press it several times to get it to turn on or off, sometimes having to turn it on/off manually. Also, doesn't seem to hold a charge for too long. Hardwired would have been better.

Really like that you take the light to the charger instead of taking the charger to the light and having it hang from light and possibly not be close to outlet depending on where you install it. Much easier this way. Only negative is that the light is not very bright - works great for night light which is what I wanted it for but wouldn't make great reading light. This rechargeable light is pretty much what it says it is. What I didn't realize before ordering it is how inconvenient it would be to have to take it down and charge it often. I think it would be good in a space that didn't need much light for very long. It takes 3-4 hours to charge and usage time is about the same. I like that it has different tones of light to choose from. The remote has preset dimming options and - + buttons for setting it exactly where you want it. Honestly though, It's not that bright in the first place so I can't imagine needing to use the dimmer at all. Although there isn't a motion sensor, it does allow you to have an auto shut off with 4 timing options. The light does work while charging but if you wanted to use it that way, you wouldn't be able to put it in the fixture. I like that you can attach it to any magnetic surface around the house so it can still be used elsewhere. I think this is still a good option for if the power goes out or if you need to light a closet but regular use would not be as convenient. ... show more

I ordered this to replace a nasty wall sconce that has a glass enclosure. I can't pass through the hallway without something hitting that thing. So, this new one was smaller and would fit with a lower profile. But, it's still overly large. The metal frame takes up so much space. It would have been just as easy to make the unit a bit smaller and make the puck decorative. Instead, the puck is small, white and it makes the sconce look big in comparison. So, when I got this in, I decided I had to test the puck. It sticks so well to the metal that I've decided to put a small flat metal escutcheon on the ceiling and just throw this up there. The ceiling is white, this puck would be less intrusive up there. I'm wondering why they didn't consider that as an option for a lower profile. I charged it for a little while. The red glow is a bit too much. It doesn't need to be so very annoying. That said, I did notice when it shut off and was ready to go. I set the unit at the end of the hallway, on a shelf to test distance. The remote triggered the light from about 20' away. That's plenty of distance for most places in our house. It lit up the entire hallway from the closet. It would have done much better had it been centered and facing down. I'm enjoying the light (we didn't have any back there) and I no longer need to carry a lantern. Bottom line: Would I order again? Yes, though I might search for just the puck light. Would I gift? My biggest complaint about this is that it's not that bright. It was easy to install and it's easy to use. However, on it's brightest setting, it still seems pretty dim. I love the look of it and it has great features like it being able to be removed to use handheld or for easy charging.

The AIBOO LED WALL SCONCE is a nice unit. I feel the black casing is too big for the puck light. The puck is nice but not too bright even with the many options. Comes with a remote and charger. The casing is also nice with the 360 rotation. Its just too big. Casing needs to be smaller or the puck bigger. The concept is awesome, just needs a little adjusting to make this product great. ... show more
